Resumo: The objective of this research is to analyze, within the field of study of historical archeology, Casa das Onze Janelas, in Belém (PA), as a space of repression and resistance in the context of the military dictatorship (1964-1985). In this period, the building, in addition to military functions, served as a space for the imprisonment of individuals with thoughts and ideals contrary to the dictatorial regime. From this, we seek to identify the spaces where the subjects were trapped, the repressions suffered and the resistance experienced. We analyzed this context through the archeology of repression and resistance, and through the memories obtained in books, articles and in interview.

En este período, el edificio, además de funciones militares, servió como espacio de encarcelamiento de individuos con pensamientos e ideales contrarios al régimen dictatorial. A partir de ello, buscamos identificar los espacios donde los sujetos fueron atrapados, las represiones sufridas y las resistencias vividas. Analizamos este contexto a través de la arqueología de la represión y la resistencia y de las memorias obtenidas en libros, artículos y en entrevista.O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar dentro do campo de estudo da arqueologia histórica a Casa das Onze Janelas, em Belém (PA), como espaço de repressão e resistência no contexto da ditadura militar (1964-1985). Neste período, o prédio para além das funções militares servia como espaço de aprisionamento de indivíduos com pensamentos e ideais contrários ao regime ditatorial. A partir disso, buscamos identificar os espaços onde os sujeitos ficaram presos, as repressões sofridas e as resistências vividas.
