Resumo: This article seeks to problematize the relationships, challenges and tensions present in the field of History of Education on the materiality of documents and historical collections and preservation strategies through digitized collections. The proposal is to discuss preservation and accessibility through the digitization of sources, seeking strategies to offer researchers extracts of materiality from documents. To this end, the work of the Tatu Digital Repository, created within the scope of the Federal University of Pampa (Unipampa), by the Research Group on the History of Education, Digital Repositories and Historical Collections (PHERA) and the strategies to offer the maximum possible information for the feasibility of research, with the support of digital, providing greater access and preservation of sources.

La propuesta es discutir la preservación y la accesibilidad a través de la digitalización de las fuentes, buscando estrategias para ofrecer a los investigadores extractos de materialidad de los documentos. En este sentido, el trabajo del Repositorio Digital Tatu, creado en el ámbito de la Universidade Federal do Pampa (Unipampa), por el Grupo de Investigación en Historia de la Educación, Repositorios Digitales y Colecciones Históricas (PHERA) y las estrategias para ofrecer la máxima información posible para la factibilidad de la investigación, con el apoyo de lo digital, brindando un mayor acceso y preservación de las fuentes.Este artigo busca problematizar as relações, desafios e tensões presentes no campo da História da Educação sobre a materialidade dos documentos e de acervos históricos, bem como as estratégias de preservação por meio dos acervos digitalizados. A proposta é discutir a preservação e acessibilidade por intermédio da digitalização das fontes, procurando por estratégias para oferecer aos pesquisadores extratos de materialidade dos documentos.
