Resumo: Objective: To analyze the quality of life and sleep of medical students at a private institution in northern Paraná. Methodology: Quantitative, cross-sectional, and descriptive study. A population consisting of 201 students from the first to the sixth year of medicine. The exclusion criterion was age under 18 years. Non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. A questionnaire was applied to characterize the quality of life “Fantastic lifestyle questionnaire”. The questions are arranged on a Likert scale. The lower the score, the greater the need for change. To evaluate the quality of sleep, the “Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index” was used, allowing it to identify its quality. The data were collected through the dissemination of an online questionnaire on the “Google Forms” platform. The project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee Involving Human Beings at Unicesumar, in compliance with CNS Resolution 466/12 under opinion 3,759,579. Results: It was found that students have a good quality of sleep, difficulty falling asleep, high adherence to the practice of physical activity, high levels of daily stress, use of psychoactive substances, and alcohol. Conclusions: it was possible to understand the context to which young people are inserted with regard to sleep and quality of life. Discussions on these topics make it possible to establish strategies to improve the quality of life of medical students.
