Although mineral fertilizers are nutritional sources widely used in agriculture, their indiscriminate use often causes contamination in the environment, affecting both plant and animal life present in this ecosystem. Faced with the need for a more sustainable agricultural production, the use of organic fertilizer appears to meet the need for plant nutrients. From the point of view of vegetable production, vegetables are the main crops in which the use of organic fertilizer is used. The main objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of different doses of eucalyptus ash on carrot cultivation. The experiment was carried out in the city of Cambira-PR, in a greenhouse with 9 liter pots. The design was completely randomized, with 4 replications and six treatments, with the following ash levels being tested: 0; 7; 14; 21; 28 and 35 g dm³. The plants were cultivated until the end of their productive cycle, where the characteristics of fresh and root mass, carrot diameter, number of leaves and leaf width were evaluated. For all characteristics analyzed, at least one ash dose differed from the others by the F test through analysis of variance, and it was found through the regression test that the best ash doses were 7 and 35 g dm³ of ash. It is concluded that organic fertilization using ash is a viable source of fertilization in carrots, however, it is necessary to take into account the chemical composition of the ash and the nutrient requirements of carrots.
