Das políticas públicas: da implantação de prisões modelo no Brasil como forma de reinserção social e efetivação dos direitos humanos do preso

Due to the overcrowding in Brazilian prisons, the present research aims to prove the serious violation of human rights of prisoners, analyze the public policies of social reintegration of former inmates and the unequal treatment suffered by these individuals to enter the labor market, especially in relation to historical, social and cultural factors, as well as discrimination and stigmatization. To do so, the theoretical method was used, based on bibliographic research in books, periodicals, electronic documents, as well as the pertinent legislation about the theme, taking into consideration the international instruments for the protection of human rights, etc. The number of prisoners and existing prisons in Brazil, companies that hire prisoners and/or former prisoners, the influence of the media and the existence of model prisons were also analyzed. The information collected was used as the basis for the argumentation of a possible proposal for a solution to the problem raised by the research. Finally, it is presented as a result the softening of the unequal treatment of prisoners and former inmates in the labor market, their real social reintegration into Brazilian society, the softening of the sanitary crisis in prisons and the realization of the human rights of prisoners.
