It is very important for us to study labor relations in the face of an unexpected and overwhelming scenario, which is the pandemic. One of its great effects is the destabilization of work relationships. The discussion about covid-19 being a work related illness has already had great repercussions in our legal system, such as with MP 927/20 and the STF's position on ADIs. It is also worth mentioning Technical Note SEI No. 56376/2020, which addressed the matter, emphasizing the closure of said MP and the loss of object of the ADIs. Such aspects still had a great repercussion in terms of the economy, since this decision of the STF discouraged businessmen from making new investments and even keeping existing ones, increasing even more unemployment. Therefore, Courts and Courts have been deciding, in general, based on the subjective responsibility of the employer and on proof of a causal link, but there are also decisions in a different way.
