Current paper analyzes the burial of parts of the human body without any registration by the Officer of Civil Registration and Natural People in the wake of the lack of federal legislation establishing ‘the registration of parts of the human body’. Laws 6015/1973 and 8935/1994 are the legal statutes that deal with public registration. The lack of legislation establishing registers of parts of the human body by Officers of the Civil Registration and Natural People is a loophole in the preservation of rights of personality closely linked to the Theory of the Prolongation of the Living Body. Results show that the establishment of Book F by the Officers of Civil registration and Natural Persons is the sole guarantee of the right. The protection of the rights of the personality exists when these facts are entered into the Public Register.
