This work consists of the elaboration of an electronic spreadsheet whose function is to carry out a comparative study between the foundations of the excavated piles group, mainly covering the continuous helix type, large diameter excavated pile with stabilizing fluid and excavated pile without stabilizing fluid. Foundations, even if not seen, are considered the main elements of a structure, and often because it is the first project developed on a construction site, they are not analyzed in depth, thus generating additional costs due to the lack of an adequate feasibility study. The presented study aims to optimize the elaboration of load and quantitative calculations so that, in its final result, a cost comparison is presented graphically so that the program user has the possibility of choosing the foundation with the lowest cost and with guaranteed effectiveness, thus, optimizing time for feasibility analysis of foundations and guaranteeing the quality of its processes. In view of the results obtained, it was possible to verify that the proposed algorithm generated satisfactory analyzes, resembling the approached literature, resulting in a comparison between different types of diameters and excavated piles. In the example analyzed by the spreadsheet, cost comparisons were arrived at, identifying that not always the smallest diameter pays off economically. Therefore, it proves the importance of a feasibility study to choose the suitable foundation type avoiding excessive expenses.
