Resumo: The purple carurus (Amaranthus hybridus L.) is a plant native to Tropical America and is considered an invader plant, although it has been used as an unconventional food plant (PANC). This project intends to evaluate agronomic aspects of purple carurus plants produced in vases, verifying variables of plant development such as the length and the biomass, fresh and dry, of the upper part of the root and the diameter of the stem. There three treatments: T0 - Witness (0,0 kg ha-1); T1 - Progibb 400 (0,05 kg-1 of seeds) and T2 - Urea (60 kg N ha-1). The adopted design was entirely casualized (ICD), with five repetitions of each treatment. The data were evaluated by analysis of variance and the averages between treatments compared to the Scott Knott test at 5% significance by using the SISVAR statistical software. The treatments with Progibb 400 and Urea promoted a higher development of caruru-roxo PANC, and the results with Progibb 400 were more expressive. For this reason, these products can be used in production systems of Amaranthus hybridus, boosted by vegetable biomass and allowing the expansion of its consumption as a nutritious and low-cost source.

Este projeto tem o intuito de avaliar aspectos agronômicos de plantas de caruru-roxo produzidas em vasos, verificando variáveis do desenvolvimento vegetal como comprimento e biomassas, fresca e seca, da parte aérea e da raiz e o diâmetro do caule. Serão realizados 3 tratamentos: T0 - Testemunha (0,0 kg ha-1); T1 - Progibb 400 (0,05g kg-1 de sementes) e T2 - Ureia (60 kg N ha-1). O delineamento adotado foi inteiramente casualizado (DIC), com cinco repetições de cada tratamento. Os dados foram avaliados por análise de variância e as médias entre tratamentos comparados pelo teste Scott Knott a 5% de significância por meio do software estatístico SISVAR. Os tratamentos com Progibb 400 e Ureia promoveram maior desenvolvimento da PANC caruru-roxo, sendo que os resultados com progibb 400 foram mais expressivos. Portanto, estes produtos podem ser utilizados em sistemas produtivos de Amaranthus hybridus, incrementado a biomassa vegetal e permitindo a ampliação do seu consumo como fonte nutritiva e de baixo custo.UNIVERSIDADE CESUMARBrasilUNICESUMARBIDO.
