The work carried out on the rural property aims to place future academic Agricultural Engineers, with the reality of the field, with the purpose of experiencing in practice everything that was passed during the academic formation, enabling the implementation of better management of activities. economic efficiency of the property as a whole and the generation of greater profitability for the rural producer. The work was carried out in the municipality of Terra Rica - PR, at Carlos farm, where it was divided into survey, diagnosis and planning, the first step consisted of the identification of the owner and property, characterization of the municipality and climate conditions of the region, description infrastructure, natural resources and economic activities developed in the property and technical analysis of production costs. In the second stage, the positives, negatives, opportunities for improvement and threats were thoroughly raised. Finally, the third stage, where the work planning was carried out, with the objective of proposing improvements to the negatives and threats, besides reinforcing the positives of the property. The opportunity to do this work, combining the theories and knowledge available in the academic environment, with the reality of a property / landowner, favorably contributed to a meaningful learning to the professional of the agronomic area and helped in the demonstration (to the landowner and interested in the subject) of the factors that may alter productivity in the agricultural area where the research was conducted, justifying its accomplishment.
