Resumo: | The assertion that within an ecosystem may exist different environmental characteristics and the populations tend to adapt, is the rule to justify the morphological variations. Thus, Ecomorphology and functional diversity try to diagnose how and where these different environmental characteristics are reflected in the organisms morphology. In this sense, our hypothesis was that populations of different environments in the Upper Paraná River Basin have ecomorphological and functional variations. For obtain Ecomorphological data were used seventy individuals of the Phalloceros harpagos from different sub-basins. Twenty-six morphometric measurements and calculated six body areas were taken. For analysis of the functional traits were evaluated, the stomach contents and osteology of fifty individuals of the species. The data analysis allowed noted and infer parameters about populations related to different regions can express differences in ecomorphological and functional standards. These differences related to the environmental characteristics of ecosystems often affected by human activities, and interspecific competition with alien species inserted there. The human impacts diagnosed in these environments indicate that conservation actions, mitigation and/or environmental compensation are necessary to maintain the functional structure of these populations. Keywords: Adaptation; Environmental Characteristics; Cyprinodontiformes; Environmental degradation; Morphology. |

Universidade Federal do AmapáLeitão, Manoela Lelis de CarvalhoSilva, Ãtalo Lima eHiroki, Kátia Aparecida NunesPelli, Afonsode Souza, Fagner2018-09-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo Avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/362210.18561/2179-5746/biotaamazonia.v8n3p34-38Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota); v. 8, n. 3 (2018); 34-382179-5746reponame:Biota Amazôniainstname:Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)instacron:UNIFAPporhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/3622/v8n3p34-38.pdfBrasilDireitos autorais 2018 Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2019-09-10T19:55:31Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/3622Revistahttp://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biotaONGhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/oai||juliosa@unifap.br2179-57462179-5746opendoar:2019-09-10T19:55:31Biota Amazônia - Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)false |
