Resumo: | The study focused the units of agricultural exploration (UEA) located in the Municipal district of Santana, in the State of Amapá. The data were obtained through the approach participation and multidisciplinary with the farmers in 90 rural properties, seeking the identification and the characterization of the systems of use of the existent earth. Among the main identified problems in the units, the deficiency of the technical support was the most suitable with 51,1%, following by the theft of agricultural equipments and of the production with 44,4%, the access the water for irrigation with 33,3%. The medium income obtained by UEA was of 1,8 minimum wages, being the maximum of 4 and the minimum of 0,5 sm. The medium size of the units with commercial ends is of 6,61 hectares, and up to 50% of the units they possess medium area of three hectares. The systems agroforestry (SAF) they represent 18,43% of the systems of use of the land used at the place. Of the 31 marketed species, 64% are of perennial fruit bowls, while temporary cultivations, vegetables and extraction complete the other percentile ones with 16%, 10% and 10%, respectively. SAF participated with 57,03% of the income obtained by the commercial units, with average of 1,9 minimum wages, following by the permanent farming with 34,22% (1,8 sm), extraction 4,18% (1,1 sm) and temporary farming with 4,56% (0,8 sm).
