Thermal behavior and rainfall contribution in Lagoa Seca, Brazil between 1981-2019

Resumo: | The thermal oscillations of the air cause direct effects on the production of horticultural products whose economy is based on the municipality of Lagoa Seca. The objective is to analyze the thermal behavior of the period 1981-2019 and its rainfall contributions in the rainy and dry period and its variability in the seasons. The monthly and annual series of precipitation and air temperature for the period (1981-2019) were used in an attempt to understand their climatic fluctuations. The fluctuations in temperatures (maximum, average and minimum) in the autumn and spring seasons have a direct influence on the rainfall rates of the same seasons. The events of maximum and minimum absolute precipitation are related to the maximum and minimum fluctuations of the studied temperatures. These fluctuations of the maximum and absolute minimum of temperature and precipitations must be studied for different regions of the globe, since both the precipitation and the local temperature present high indexes in the rainy period (March to August), followed by the dry period (September to April) that register higher temperatures with some moments of marked reductions. |

El objetivo es analizar el comportamiento térmico del período 1981-2019 y sus contribuciones de lluvia en el período lluvioso y seco y su variabilidad en las estaciones. Las series mensuales y anuales de precipitación y temperatura del aire para el período (1981-2019) se utilizaron en un intento de comprender sus fluctuaciones climáticas. Las fluctuaciones de temperatura (máximas, medias y mínimas) en las estaciones de otoño y primavera tienen influencias directas en las tasas de lluvia de las mismas estaciones. Los eventos de precipitación absoluta máxima y mínima están relacionados con las fluctuaciones máximas y mínimas de las temperaturas estudiadas. Estas fluctuaciones en la temperatura y precipitación máximas y mínimas absolutas deben estudiarse para diferentes regiones del mundo, ya que tanto la precipitación como la temperatura local muestran niveles altos en la estación lluviosa (marzo a agosto), seguido del período seco (septiembre a abril) que registran temperaturas más altas con algunos momentos de marcadas reducciones.As oscilações térmicas do ar causam efeitos diretos na produção do hortifrutigranjeiro cuja economia é baseada o município de Lagoa Seca. Objetiva-se analisar o comportamento térmico do período de 1981-2019 e suas contribuições pluviais no período chuvoso e seco e as suas variabilidades nas estações dos anos. Utilizou-se das séries mensais e anuais de precipitação e temperatura do ar referente ao período de (1981-2019) procurando-se entender suas flutuações climáticas. As flutuações das temperaturas (máxima, média e mínima) nas estações outono e primavera têm influencias diretas sobres os índices pluviais das mesmas estações. Os eventos de precipitações máximas e mínimas absolutas estão relacionados às flutuações máximas e mínimas das temperaturas estudadas.
