Professional Training of Nurses with Social Commitment in Elderly Care: the influence of the socio-educational environment

Resumo: | The objective of the study was to understand the training of nurses for professional practice with social commitment in consultation with the elderly, considering the socio-educational environment. Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical framework was used. The methodology was a qualitative documentary analysis of the pedagogical project of the Aurora de Afonso Costa Nursing School, which is published on the institution's website, in light of the content analysis. Content analysis was used and from it three categories were found: knowledge / knowledge and those of everyday nursing praxis are seen from the perspective of integration between theory and practice; “Social commitment” refers to having a professional attitude towards the individual, the family, and the community in valuing life and reveals that social commitment is related to training and social participation, within the concept of practice between subjects and mediator of care in the socio-educational environment. Understanding the professional training of nurses with social commitment in the socio-educational environment organizes consultation with the elderly with knowledge for the academic community. |

Se utilizó el marco teórico de Pierre Bourdieu. La metodología fue un análisis documental cualitativo del proyecto pedagógico de la Escuela de Enfermería Aurora de Afonso Costa, que se publica en el sitio web de la institución, a la luz del análisis de contenido. Se utilizó el análisis de contenido y de él se encontraron tres categorías: conocimiento/conocimiento y los de la praxis de enfermería cotidiana se ven desde la perspectiva de integración entre la teoría y la práctica; El “compromiso social” se refiere a tener una actitud profesional hacia el individuo, la familia y la comunidad en la valoración de la vida y revela que el compromiso social está relacionado con la capacitación y la participación social, dentro del concepto de práctica entre sujetos y mediador de atención en el entorno socioeducativo. La comprensión de la formación profesional de las enfermeras con compromiso social en el entorno socioeducativo organiza consultas con las personas mayores con conocimientos para la comunidad académica.O objetivo do estudo foi compreender a formação do enfermeiro para o exercício profissional com compromisso social na consulta ao idoso tendo em vista o ambiente socioeducacional. Foi empregado o referencial teórico de Pierre Bourdieu. A metodologia foi análise documental qualitativo do projeto pedagógico da Escola de Enfermagem Aurora de Afonso Costa que está publicado no site da instituição, à luz da análise de conteúdo. Utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo e a partir dela encontraram-se três categorias: o conhecimento/saber e as da práxis cotidiana de enfermagem são vistas sob a óptica da integração entre a teoria-prática; “compromisso social” se refere a ter atitude profissional com o indivíduo, a família, e a comunidade na valorização da vida e revela que o compromisso social está relacionado com a formação e a participação social, dentro do conceito de prática entre sujeitos e mediadora dos cuidados no ambiente socioeducacional.
