Resumo: Objective: to report the author's experience with the realistic simulation developed with nursing students in the discipline of Semiology and Semiotechnics of the undergraduate course. Description of the experience: the simulations always took place in the nursing practice laboratory, three times a week, after an expository-dialog class about a certain content. They were guided by the teachers of the discipline. Five classes participated in the simulations, totaling 30 students. Immediately after the end of the simulations, a reflexive discussion (debriefing) was carried out, which allowed the assimilation of practices and the reconstruction of conducts. This methodology provided the students with greater security and confidence to perform nursing care for patients. Conclusion: The use of realistic simulation proved to be effective, with positive results on the improvement of knowledge, self-confidence, satisfaction with learning, providing greater association between theory and practice by providing experiences of situations that simulated reality.

Research, Society and Development2021-04-05info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/1405710.33448/rsd-v10i4.14057Research, Society and Development; Vol. 10 No. 4; e18710414057Research, Society and Development; Vol. 10 Núm. 4; e18710414057Research, Society and Development; v. 10 n. 4; e187104140572525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/14057/12568Copyright (c) 2021 Cristiane Lopes Amarijo; Camila Daiane Silva ; Marina Soares Mota; Aline Belletti Figueira; Daniele Ferreira Acosta; José Henrique Lopes da Silvahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAmarijo, Cristiane LopesSilva , Camila DaianeMota, Marina Soares Figueira, Aline BellettiAcosta, Daniele FerreiraSilva, José Henrique Lopes da 2021-04-25T11:21:26Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/14057Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:35:16.206676Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
