The use of Canabidiol compound in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (literature review)

Resumo: A Cannabis sativa plant, popularly known as marijuana, has about 400 substances, among these substances, 60 different types of cannabinoids, of which two are highlighted by their therapy: tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). Alzheimer's disease or CBD works with impact or inflammation, increased oxygen and declined brain cells. The aim of this work was to explain how to use cannabidiol compound in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, changing the feasibility of legalizing its use. The study was developed through a bibliographic review, in which most scientific articles and books were consulted and analyzed in relation to the theme. With a search of the collected material, it was possible to observe that the pharmacological treatment of AD can be defined by specific therapies, prophylactic approach, symptomatic treatment and complementary therapy.

La enfermedad de Alzheimer o CBD funciona con impacto o inflamación, aumento de oxígeno y disminución de las células cerebrales. El objetivo de este trabajofue explicar cómo usar elcompuesto de cannabidioleneltratamiento de laenfermedad de Alzheimer, cambiando laviabilidad de legalizar su uso. El estudiofuedesarrollado a través de una revisión bibliográfica, enlacuallamayoría de los artículos y libros científicos fueron consultados y analizadosenrelaciónconel tema. Con una búsquedadel material recogido, fueposible observar que eltratamiento farmacológico de la EA se puede definir mediante terapias específicas, enfoque profiláctico, tratamiento sintomático y terapia complementaria.A planta Cannabis sativa, popularmente conhecida como maconha, possui cerca de 400 substâncias, dentre essas substâncias, 60 são tipos diferentes de canabinóides, dos quais dois se destacam pela sua finalidade terapêutica: o tetrahidrocanabinol (THC) e o canabidiol (CBD). Na doença de Alzheimer o CBD atua reduzindo o impacto da inflamação, acúmulo de oxigênio e declínio das células cerebrais. O objetivo desse trabalho foi explanar sobre a utilização do composto canabidiol no tratamento da doença de Alzheimer apontando a viabilidade de legalizar seu uso.
