Resumo: | Inclusive Special Education brings with it specificities and has gaps for effective inclusion. This process may result from the absence of inclusive guidelines in the curricula of the licentiates, evidencing deficiencies in the didactic-pedagogical articulations, reflecting directly on the modus operandi of teaching-learning in Basic Education. This article aims to make possible reflections on the importance of art teaching in education professionals, more precisely music, contributing to socialization and learning. Art and its languages contribute to the psychomotor, cognitive, social and affective development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school plays an important role in the education and development of these children, because the school is the space where paradigms are broken and adequate pedagogical resources must be offered to the students. In this sense, art helps students with ASD to have a significant teaching-learning process, since people with ASD are sensitive to the processes of interaction and socialization. |

This article aims to make possible reflections on the importance of art teaching in education professionals, more precisely music, contributing to socialization and learning. In this sense, art helps students with ASD to have a significant teaching-learning process, since people with ASD are sensitive to the processes of interaction and socialization.
