Resumo: This work is an excerpt from the máster thesis research, Teacher Profile At Ept: Analysis Of The Knowledge And Practices Of Teachers Who Work At Ifce, associated with the postgraduate program in Professional and Technological Education - ProfEPT. The main objective of the study is to reflect on the training of teachers in ETP (Professional and Technological Education), the legislation and the challenges and perspectives in this teaching modality. In terms of methodology, it is a study with a qualitative approach, supported by historical-dialectical materialism and exploratory and descriptive objectives. The bibliographic technique was also used through the work of authors who deal with teacher training at ETP. Reflections on the subject brought the following results: it was established that this training must be continuous for the development of the teaching and learning process; there is a lack of guidelines for teacher training for EPT that consider the work regime, as well as the offer of courses consistent with the reality of teachers.

El objetivo principal del estudio es reflexionar sobre la formación de profesores en la EPT (Educación Profesional y Tecnológica) la legislación y los desafíos y perspectivas en esta modalidad de encino. En términos de metodología, tratarse de un estudio de abordaje cualitativa, apoyada en el materialismo histórico dialéctico y en los objetivos exploratorio y descriptivos. También fue utilizada la técnica bibliográfica atreves de la obra de autores que tratan de la formación docente en la EPT. Las reflexiones sobre el tema trajeron los siguientes resultados: establecerse que esa formación de profesores para la EPT que considerando los desafíos para la preparación del educando para el desarrollo de habilidades y competencias para mundo del labor, así como la oferta cursos que están en acuerdo con la realidad de los profesores.Este trabalho é um recorte da pesquisa de dissertação de mestrado, Perfil Docente Na Ept: Análise Dos Saberes E Práticas Dos Docentes Que Atuam No IfcE, associada ao programa de pós-graduação em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica- ProfEPT. O objetivo principal do estudo é refletir sobre a formação de professores na EPT (Educação Profissional e Tecnológica), a legislação e os desafios e perspectivas nessa modalidade de ensino. Em termos de metodologia, trata-se de um estudo de abordagem qualitativa, apoiada no materialismo histórico-dialético e nos objetivos exploratórios e descritivos. Também foi utilizada a técnica bibliográfica através da obra de autores que tratam da formação docente na EPT.
