Resumo: | Transport infrastructure plays a crucial role in the socio-economic development of a country both at regional and national levels. However, this segment faces difficulties to develop essential activities that can offer a differentiated support in the transport sector. The main difficulties are related to the lack of permanent investments for construction, maintenance and inspection of highways. The present research work had as main focus to evaluate the surface conditions of the pavement of a highway using a Continuous Visual Survey Method. For this purpose, a comparative analysis was carried out between the project of the enterprise and its execution, as well as the pathologies presented as a result of its use. The studied highway, named Av. Antônio Carlos Belchior, is located in the city of Sobral, Ceará, Brazil. For the evaluation of the surface of the pavement, the Norm DNIT 008/2003 - PRO was adopted, where the required conditions for the accomplishment of the evaluation of the surface of flexible and semi-rigid pavements are fixed. During the work, the pathologies present in the pavement were detected and classified according to the characteristics presented during the evaluation. Therefore, in this work, an approach was carried out from the elaboration of the project to the execution of the highway, analyzing the factors that contributed to the wear and/or emergence of pathologies. The Continuous Visual Survey Method made it possible to diagnose the critical points of the highway from the pathologies detected during the evaluation process. |

Este segmento, sin embargo, enfrenta dificultades para desarrollar actividades esenciales que puedan ofrecer un apoyo diferenciado en el sector del transporte. Las principales dificultades están relacionadas con la falta de inversiones permanentes para la construcción, mantenimiento e inspección de carreteras. El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como enfoque principal evaluar las condiciones superficiales del pavimento de una carretera utilizando un Método de Encuesta Visual Continua. Para ello se realizó un análisis comparativo entre el proyecto del emprendimiento y su ejecución, así como las patologías que presenta como consecuencia de su uso. La vía estudiada, denominada Av. Antônio Carlos Belchior, tiene su sede en la ciudad de Sobral, Ceará, Brasil. Para la evaluación de la superficie del pavimento se adoptó la Norma DNIT 008/2003 - PRO, donde se fijan las condiciones requeridas para la realización de la evaluación de la superficie de los pavimentos flexibles y semirrígidos. Durante el trabajo se detectaron las patologías presentes en el pavimento y se clasificaron según las características presentadas durante la evaluación. Por ello, en este trabajo se realizó un acercamiento desde la elaboración del proyecto hasta la ejecución de la vía, analizando los factores que contribuyeron al desgaste y/o aparición de patologías. El Método de Encuesta Visual Continua permitió diagnosticar los puntos críticos de la carretera a partir de las patologías detectadas durante el proceso de evaluación.A infraestrutura de transportes desempenha um papel crucial no desenvolvimento socioeconômico de um país tanto em nível regional quanto nacional. O presente trabalho de pesquisa teve como foco principal avaliar as condições da superfície do pavimento de uma rodovia usando um Método do Levantamento Visual Continuo. Para este propósito foi realizado uma análise comparativa entre o projeto do empreendimento e a sua execução, bem como as patologias apresentadas em decorrência seu uso. A rodovia estudada, nomeada Av. Antônio Carlos Belchior, está localizada na cidade de Sobral, Ceará, Brasil. Para avaliação da superfície do pavimento, adotou-se a norma DNIT 008/2003 - PRO, onde estão fixadas condições exigíveis para a realização da avaliação da superfície de pavimentos flexíveis e semirrígidos. Durante o realização do trabalho foram detectadas e classificadas as patologias presentes no pavimento de acordo com as características apresentadas durante a avaliação. Portanto, neste trabalho foi realizado uma abordagem desde a elaboração de projeto até a execução da rodovia, analisando os fatores que contribuíram para o desgaste e/ou surgimento de patologias.
