Resumo: Objective: To map the scientific evidence in the literature on alternative communication in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Revision Method: Scoping Revision Protocol following the Joanna Briggs Institute method. For this study, publications that mention or use of alternative communication in children with autism will be included. It will be searched in the data banks of the Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (VHL), Portal da Capes and PubMed, along with the Chinese literature and representative entities. Presentation and Interpretation of two results: Descriptively, tables and charts will be used to present the revision scores.

Se buscará en las bases de datos de la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS), Portal Capes y PubMed, además de literatura gris y entidades representativas. Presentación e Interpretación de Resultados: De manera descriptiva, se utilizarán tablas y gráficos para presentar los hallazgos de la revisión.Objetivo: Mapear as evidências científicas na literatura sobre comunicação alternativa em crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista. Método de Revisão: Protocolo de Revisão de Escopo seguindo o método Joanna Briggs Institute. Para este estudo, serão incluídas publicações que mencionam o uso da comunicação alternativa em crianças com autismo.
