Chronotope and Teaching Work in the Pandemic at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG) and at the State Department of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF)

Resumo: | In this article, we analyze the Bakhtinian concept of chronotope in teaching work organization during the COVID-19 pandemic, in two Brazilian educational systems: the Secretary of State for Education in Federal District - SEEDF, which offers Nursery, Elementary, High School, and Technological, Vocational Education and Training - TVET to all Federal District, and the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG), which primarily offers Basic Education, especially High School Integrated to TVET, and the Higher education. Both institutions developed, throughout the pandemic, documents to direct and orient teachers and instructors’ work during the system called “remote class” or “emergency remote system” having on the one hand, specific and limited chronotopes of teachers’ practice and, on the other hand, very wide open and poorly directed chronotopes oriented. Those differences in the orientations, seen in official documents, generated ambiguity in the practices in the context of remote classrooms. The objective of this work was to develop a documental analysis of the guidance to teaching work during the pandemic in the years 2020 and 2021. As results, we observed the complexity through the task of teacher orientation, teaching times and spaces and educational objectives. |

Durante la pandemia, las dos instituciones elaboraron documentos que delimitan y orientan la organización del trabajo docente en contextos de aulas a distancia, por un lado, con cronotopos a veces delimitados y limitadores de las actividades docentes, a veces abiertas y mal dirigidas, confundiendo los objetivos pedagógicos en el contexto del aula a distancia. El objetivo de este trabajo fue desarrollar un análisis documental de la orientación al trabajo docente durante la pandemia en los años 2020 y 2021. Entre los resultados, se observó la complejidad que implica la tarea de orientar al docente, los tiempos y espacios de enseñanza y los objetivos educativos.Neste artigo, analisamos o conceito bakhtiniano de cronotopo na organização do trabalho docente ao longo da pandemia da COVID-19, em dois sistemas de educação brasileiros: a Secretaria de Estado de Educação do Distrito Federal – SEEDF, que atende todo o Distrito Federal na Educação Básica e Educação Profissional e Tecnológica – EPT, e o Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Goiás – IFG, que atende prioritariamente a Educação Básica, em especial o Ensino Médio integrado à EPT, e o Ensino Superior. As duas instituições elaboraram, ao longo da pandemia, documentos direcionadores e orientadores da organização do trabalho docente em contextos de sala de aula remotas, tendo, por um lado, cronotopos ora definidos e delimitadores da atuação docente, ora abertos e pouco direcionados, instalando ambiguidades nos objetivos pedagógicos no contexto da sala de aula remota. O objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver uma análise documental da orientação ao trabalho docente durante a pandemia nos anos de 2020 e 2021.
