Use of research projects as a facilitating means for the curricularization of research through a Theoretical-Practical approach in the Chemistry Degree course at IFRO campus Ji-Paraná

Resumo: | We currently have a configuration of university entrants made up of a generation that has access to information through a wide variety of tools. In this sense, it is necessary for schools and universities to seek strategies to monitor, understand and create teaching methodologies that adapt to these new times, thus placing students in an active and participatory position in their learning process. Among these methodologies, we can highlight project-based learning as it is an active teaching methodology that proposes, through the investigation of a central theme, that students can unite theory and practice in a way that each individual involved in the teaching-learning process can articulate in a differentiated way. This study aims to analyze if project-based learning and its relevance for the curricularization of research at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia and to describe the perception and feelings of the students of a discipline of the degree course in chemistry about this methodology and if its application in the discipline of instrumental analysis contributed in some way to their learning. This study was applied in a class of instrumental analysis, a discipline of the degree course in chemistry in which the students elaborated a research project where they chose which parameters to analyze and which methods to use for this and in the end presented the results obtained in the form of a seminar. To verify the perceptions about the methodology, a questionnaire was used that was analyzed from a qualitative perspective. From the results obtained through this questionnaire, we can conclude that yes, this methodology had a positive result because, even considering the time to carry out the activities less than necessary, they consider that the project brought them knowledge that will be useful in the future, especially for those who expressed the desire to follow an academic career focused on scientific research. |

En este sentido, es necesario que las escuelas y universidades busquen estrategias para monitorear, comprender y crear metodologías de enseñanza que se adapten a estos nuevos tiempos, colocando así a los estudiantes en una posición activa y participativa en su proceso de aprendizaje. Entre estas metodologías, podemos destacar el aprendizaje basado en proyectos, ya que es una metodología de enseñanza activa que propone, a través de la investigación de un tema central, que los estudiantes puedan unir teoría y práctica de manera que cada individuo involucrado en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje pueda articularse de manera diferenciada. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar si el aprendizaje basado en proyectos y su relevancia para la curricularización de la investigación en el Instituto Federal de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología de Rondônia y describir la percepción y los sentimientos de los estudiantes de una disciplina del curso de licenciatura en química sobre esta metodología y si su aplicación en la disciplina de análisis instrumental contribuyó de alguna manera a su aprendizaje. Este estudio se aplicó en una clase de análisis instrumental, una disciplina del curso de licenciatura en química en la que los estudiantes elaboraron un proyecto de investigación donde eligieron qué parámetros analizar y qué métodos usar para esto y al final presentaron los resultados obtenidos en forma de seminario. Para verificar las percepciones sobre la metodología, se utilizó un cuestionario que se analizó desde una perspectiva cualitativa. A partir de los resultados obtenidos a través de este cuestionario, podemos concluir que sí, esta metodología tuvo un resultado positivo porque, incluso considerando que el tiempo para realizar las actividades fue menor que el necesario, consideran que el proyecto les aportó conocimientos que serán útiles en el futuro, especialmente para aquellos que expresaron el deseo de seguir una carrera académica centrada en la investigación científica.Temos atualmente uma configuração de ingressantes universitários formados por uma geração que tem acesso à informação por meio de uma grande variedade de ferramentas, nesse sentido faz-se necessário que escolas e universidades busquem estratégias para monitorar, compreender e criar metodologias de ensino que se adaptem a esses novos tempos, colocando assim os alunos em uma posição ativa e participativa em seu processo de aprendizagem. Dentre essas metodologias podemos destacar a aprendizagem baseada em projetos pois trata-se de uma metodologia de ensino ativa que propõe por intermédio da investigação de um tema central, que os discentes consigam unir teoria e prática de modo que cada indivíduo envolvido no processo ensino-aprendizagem possa se articular de maneira diferenciada. O presente estudo visa realizar uma análise se a aprendizagem baseada em projetos e sua relevância para a curricularização da pesquisa no Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Rondônia e descrever a percepção e os sentimentos dos alunos de uma disciplina do curso de licenciatura em química sobre essa metodologia e se a aplicação da mesma na disciplina de análise instrumental contribuiu de alguma forma com seu aprendizado. Esse estudo foi aplicado numa turma de análise instrumental, disciplina do curso de licenciatura em química no qual os alunos elaboraram um projeto de pesquisa onde escolheram quais parâmetros analisar e quais métodos usar para isso e ao final apresentaram os resultados obtido na forma de seminário. Para verificar as percepções sobre a metodologia utilizou-se de um questionário que foi analisado sobre uma ótica qualitativa.
