Nursing interventions with the person with intestinal elimination stoma: trend of scientific production

Resumo: | Objective: To identify the trend of Brazilian scientific production in theses and dissertations about nursing interventions aimed at the care of people with intestinal stoma for elimination. Methodology: This is a narrative review carried out in the catalog of theses and dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, with no time frame. Inclusion criteria: dissertations and theses from primary studies on the topic of interest and that converged with the objective of this review. The exclusion criteria were: dissertations and theses that addressed other types of stoma; review studies and those aimed at developing and validating an instrument for implementing nursing interventions. The analysis corpus was composed of seven studies, which were analyzed in full. Results: The target audience for the intervention actions were undergraduate nursing students, nursing professionals, families of people with colostomy for colorectal cancer and people with a stoma, with the most implemented modality of educational intervention. The strategies used were mediated by the use of the virtual learning environment, by the mobilization of actors to form local supporters, by the use of educational video and by telephone contact. It was possible to verify that all implemented interventions were valid and constructive as they made it possible to expand knowledge about intestinal stoma. Conclusion of the study: The production trend is related to the implementation of educational-type interventions, aimed at nursing professionals and academics. |

Metodología: Trata-se de uma revisionão narrativa realizada no catálogo de teses y disertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, sem recorte temporal. Criterio de inclusión: disertaciones y ensayos oriundos de estudios primarios acerca de la temática de interés y la convergencia con el objetivo de revisión. Os critérios de exclusão foram: disertações e teses que abordavam outros tipos de estoma; estudos de revisión y os que tinham por objetivo desenvolver e validar instrumento para implementación de intervenciones de enfermam. O corpus de análise foi composto por sete estudos, os quais foram analisados na íntegra. Resultados: O público-alvo das ações de intervenção foram estudantes de graduação em enfermagem, profissionais de enfermagem, famílias de pessoas com colostomia by câncer colorretal e pessoas com estoma, enviando una modalidad de intervención educativa para su implementación. Como las estrategias estratégicas utilizadas en la media pela, la utilización del ambiente virtual de aprendizaje, la movilización de almacenes para formar el apoderamiento local, el uso del video educativo y el contacto telefónico. Para obtener constantes de todas las intervenciones implementadas para formas válidas y construtivas para medir la posibilidad de ampliar los accesorios sobre los estomas intestinales. Foi possível constatar que todas intervenções implementadas foram válidas e construtivas à medida que possibilitaram ampliar os conhecimentos sobre os estomas intestinais.
