Teaching of technical and architectural drawing: a proposal for interdisciplinary exercises of graphic representation

Resumo: | The work served to support the construction of an educational product, a book of contextualized exercises of technical and architectural design. The research was qualitative and quantitative. The theoretical basis was based on interdisciplinarity in teaching, focusing on teaching drawing. Under the methodological aspect, it is a research with strategy of the type design science. In the work, strategies were created to facilitate the learning of drawing education by the accomplishment of exercises more attractive and contextualized, close to the reality of the students; the contributions of the book in the teaching-learning process were verified and the importance of interdisciplinarity among related areas such as civil engineering and architecture was verified. The first version of the book was evaluated in the process of content validation by judges and, by pedagogue, through didactic-pedagogical evaluation. Finally, a graphical exercise book was presented that uses the architectural historical context of buildings to understand the elements of the existing architecture and, in order to attract students and to approach the contents of the course, the demonstration of the structural systems. The exercises were relevant and the format of the book, clear and objective, adding knowledge about the buildings. It follows a methodological course that will guarantee the applicability in the academic reality, will allow the development of the space vision of the students if there is training and will collaborate with the approximation of the reality of the course in Civil Engineering, being able to be applied also in the course of Architecture and technical course in Buildings. |

La investigación realizada fue de carácter cualitativo y cuantitativo. La fundamentación teórica se basó en interdisciplinariedad en la enseñanza, con foco en enseñanza de diseño. Bajo el aspecto metodológico, es una investigación con estrategia del tipo design science. En el trabajo, se crearon estrategias de facilitación del aprendizaje de la enseñanza de diseño por la realización de ejercicios más atractivos y contextualizados, próximos a la realidad de los estudiantes; se verificó las contribuciones del libro en el proceso de enseñanza / aprendizaje y se verificó la importancia de la interdisciplinaridad entre áreas afines como la ingeniería civil y la arquitectura. La primera versión del libro fue evaluada en el proceso de validación de contenido por jueces y, por pedagoga, por medio de evaluación didáctica-pedagógica. Por último, se presentó un libro de ejercicios de representación gráfica que utiliza el recurso del contexto histórico arquitectónico de edificaciones para el entendimiento de los elementos de la arquitectura existentes y, para atraer a los estudiantes y aproximar los contenidos del curso, la demostración de los sistemas estructurales. Los ejercicios se mostraron relevantes y el formato del libro, claro y objetivo, agregando conocimiento sobre las edificaciones. Se trata de un recorrido metodológico que garantizará la aplicabilidad en la realidad académica, permitirá el desarrollo de la visión espacial de los alumnos en caso de entrenamiento y colaborará con la aproximación de la realidad del curso en Ingeniería Civil, pudiendo ser aplicado también en el curso de Arquitectura y curso técnico en Edificaciones.O trabalho serviu para embasar a construção de um produto educacional, um livro de exercícios contextualizados de desenho técnico e arquitetônico. A pesquisa realizada foi de caráter qualitativo e quantitativo. A fundamentação teórica baseou-se em interdisciplinaridade no ensino, com foco em ensino de desenho. Sob o aspecto metodológico, é uma pesquisa com estratégia do tipo design science. No trabalho, criou-se estratégias de facilitação da aprendizagem do ensino de desenho pela realização de exercícios mais atrativos e contextualizados, próximos da realidade dos estudantes; averiguou-se as contribuições do livro no processo de ensino/aprendizagem e verificou-se a importância da interdisciplinaridade entre áreas afins como a engenharia civil e arquitetura. A primeira versão do livro foi avaliado no processo de validação de conteúdo por juízes e, por pedagoga, por meio de avaliação didática-pedagógica. Por fim, apresentou-se um livro de exercícios de representação gráfica que utiliza o recurso do contexto histórico arquitetônico de edificações para o entendimento dos elementos da arquitetura existentes e, para atrair estudantes e aproximar dos conteúdos do curso, a demonstração dos sistemas estruturais. Os exercícios mostraram-se relevantes e o formato do livro, claro e objetivo, agregando conhecimento sobre as edificações.
