Evaluation of design elements and the state of conservation of the unpaved road section in the state of pernambuco, brazil

Resumo: | The role played by highways in our country is of fundamental importance, considering that it is the main mode of transport of people and cargo. However, the brazilian road network is mostly in critical condition due to the lack of maintenance by the public sectors responsible. It is in this context that the interest emerges for the study of the stretch between the municipalities of Lagoa dos Gatos and Belém de Maria da PE-123, an unpaved state highway. This article aims to characterize the pathway, its pathologies, verify the design elements and present possible solutions to the identified problems. The data were obtained through topographic surveys, measurement of selected points, obtaining on-site images, satellite, and compared with official normative specifications. The evaluation of the stretch showed the total non-conformity of the track with the current technical requirements, evidencing the need for readjustment of the track, due to the poor conditions of the bearing strip, absence of drainage devices or any type of paving, improper cross-section and some pathological manifestations, such as holes, wheel trail and segregation of aggregates. In view of the table presented, the possible solutions to be implemented for the improvement of the tracing and its traffic condition are proposed. It can be appearing from the above in the study that the inefficiency of the agencies responsible in managing their infrastructure causes a greater financial detachment than would be necessary if regular maintenance works on the highway were carried out. |

Sin embargo, la red vial brasileña se encuentra principalmente en estado crítico debido a la falta de mantenimiento por parte de los sectores públicos responsables. Es en este contexto que surge el interés por el estudio del tramo entre los municipios de Lagoa dos Gatos y Belém de Maria da PE-123, una carretera estatal sin asfaltado. Este artículo tiene como objetivo caracterizar la vía, sus patologías, verificar los elementos de diseño y presentar posibles soluciones a los problemas identificados. Los datos se obtuvieron a través de encuestas topográficas, medición de puntos seleccionados, obtención de imágenes en el sitio, satélite, y en comparación con las especificaciones normativas oficiales. La evaluación del tramo mostró la total inconformidad de la vía con los requisitos técnicos actuales, evidenciando la necesidad de reajuste de la vía, debido a las malas condiciones de la tira de rodamientos, ausencia de dispositivos de drenaje o cualquier tipo de pavimentación, sección transversal inadecuada y algunas manifestaciones patológicas, tales como agujeros, rastro de rueda y segregación de agregados. En vista de la tabla presentada, se proponen las posibles soluciones a implementar para la mejora del seguimiento y su estado de tráfico. De dos órganos responsables lo anterior se desprende que la ineficiencia de las agencias responsables en la gestión de su infraestructura provoca un mayor desprendimiento financiero de lo necesario si se llevaran a cabo trabajos regulares de mantenimiento en la carretera.O papel exercido pelas rodovias em nosso país é de fundamental importância, tendo em vista que é o principal modal de transporte de pessoas e cargas. Contudo, a malha rodoviária brasileira se encontra, em sua maior parte, em estado crítico pela ausência de manutenção por parte dos setores públicos responsáveis. É nesse contexto, que emerge o interesse pelo estudo do trecho entre os municípios pernambucanos de Lagoa dos Gatos e Belém de Maria da PE-123, rodovia estadual não pavimentada. O presente artigo tem como objetivos relatar a caracterização da via, suas patologias, a verificação dos elementos de projeto e a apresentação de possíveis soluções para os problemas identificados. Os dados foram obtidos através de levantamentos topográficos, medição de pontos selecionados, obtenção de imagens in loco, de satélite, e comparados com as especificações oficiais normativas. A avaliação do trecho mostrou a total desconformidade da via com as exigências técnicas vigentes, evidenciando a necessidade da readequação da via, em virtude das péssimas condições da faixa de rolamento, ausência dos dispositivos de drenagem ou de qualquer tipo de pavimentação, seção transversal imprópria e algumas manifestações patológicas, como buracos, trilha de rodas e segregação de agregados. Diante do quadro apresentado são propostas as possíveis soluções a serem executadas para a melhoria do traçado e de sua condição de trafegabilidade.
