Mobile devices applications on children's immunization: integrative literature review

Resumo: | Objective: To identify the main characteristics (resources) of applications aimed at children's immunization. Method: Integrative review by article search in journals indexed in the following databases: LILACS, National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health (MEDLINE/PubMed) and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), from 2015 to 2019. Results: A total of 54 articles were found, of which 9 articles met the selection criteria. The applications’ resources were examined by means of the following items: increased coverage of the doses taken, referral of information regarding child immunization and improved management by professionals following the application of vaccines. Conclusion: The applications analyzed have different resources, such as data logging, information transfer, and sending messages and alerts, proving to be effective in improving the vaccination coverage. However, some information is not yet available. |

Método: Revisión integrativa a través de la búsqueda de artículos en los periódicos indexados en las bases de datos: LILACS, National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health (MEDLINE/PubMed) y Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), en el período de 2015 hasta 2019. Resultados: La búsqueda ha generado un total de 54 artículos, de los cuales 09 artículos respectaron a los criterios de selección. Los recursos de las aplicaciones fueron examinados a través de los ítems aumento de la asistencia de dosis tomadas, repase de informaciones sobre la inmunización infantil y la mejoría de la administración de los profesionales en el acompañamiento de la tomada de vacunas. Conclusión: Las aplicaciones analizadas poseen distintos recursos, como el registro de datos, repaso de informaciones y encaminamiento de mensajes y alertas, mostrándose eficaces en la mejoría de cobertura vacunal. Sin embargo, se puede percibir que algunas informaciones todavía no están disponibles.Objetivo: Identificar as principais características (recursos) dos aplicativos voltados para a imunização em crianças. Método: Revisão integrativa por meio da busca de artigos nos periódicos indexados nas bases de dados: LILACS, National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health (MEDLINE/PubMed) e Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), no período de 2015 a 2019. Resultados: A busca gerou um total de 54 artigos, dos quais nove atenderam aos critérios de seleção. Os recursos dos aplicativos foram examinados por meio dos itens “aumento da cobertura de doses tomadas”, “repasse de informações sobre a imunização infantil” e a “melhoria do gerenciamento dos profissionais no acompanhamento da tomada de vacinas”. Conclusão: Os aplicativos analisados possuem distintos recursos, como registro de dados, repasse de informações e envio de mensagens e alertas, mostrando-se eficazes na melhoria da cobertura vacinal.
