Resumo: This research aimed to identify the patient's perception of the assistance provided in the Surgical Center and Post-Anesthetic Recovery Room. This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, carried out with 59 patients who underwent surgery at the Surgical Center of a University hospital located in southern Brazil. Data collection occurred through an interview based on a semi-structured instrument. Data analysis was performed based on content analysis, thematic type. It was evidenced that the study comprises the patient's perception in relation to the care in the operating room, considering that based on how the patient feels in his surgical experience, it will be his future perceptions. In this sense, the results obtained in this study demonstrate the importance of providing quality care. It is expected that this study will contribute to the development of safer and more humanized care, focused on the needs of each patient.

Se trata de un estudio descriptivo con abordaje cualitativo, realizado con 59 pacientes intervenidos en el Centro Quirúrgico de un hospital universitario ubicado en el sur de Brasil. La recolección de datos se realizó a través de entrevistas basadas en un instrumento semiestructurado. El análisis de datos se realizó con base en análisis de contenido, tipo temático. Se evidenció que el estudio permitió comprender la percepción del paciente en relación al cuidado en el quirófano, considerando que en función de cómo se sienta el paciente en su experiencia quirúrgica, serán sus percepciones futuras. En este sentido, los resultados presentados en este estudio demuestran la importancia de brindar una atención de calidad. Se espera que este estudio contribuya al desarrollo de una atención más segura y humanizada, enfocada a las necesidades de cada paciente.Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo identificar a percepção do paciente em relação à assistência prestada no Centro Cirúrgico e Sala de Recuperação Pós Anestésica. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, realizado com 59 pacientes submetidos à cirurgia no Centro Cirúrgico de um hospital Universitário localizado no Sul do Brasil. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevista baseada em um instrumento semiestruturado. A análise de dados foi realizada a partir de análise de conteúdo, do tipo temático. Evidenciou-se que o estudo permitiu compreender a percepção do paciente em relação ao atendimento no centro cirúrgico, considerando que a partir de como o paciente se sente em sua experiência cirúrgica, será suas percepções futuras. Nesse sentido, os resultados apresentados neste estudo demonstram a importância de prestar uma assistência de qualidade.
