Systematic review of literature on gamification in higher education in administration and accounting sciences

Resumo: This paper is a Systematic Literature Review (RSL) on the gamification technique applied in higher education in Administration and Accounting Sciences, a practice that can contribute to the teaching-learning process by providing students with greater commitment to knowledge construction. The research was carried out in the Web of Science and Science Direct databases and, although an initial year for the searches was not established, these were limited to the month of April of the year 2022, using the keywords 'gamification' and 'accounting education'; 'gamification' and 'business education'; 'gamification' and 'accounting'; ‘gamification’ and ‘management’. In line with the inclusion criteria, 18 studies were selected because they met the objective proposed in this study. Among other results, it is highlighted that gamification is a methodological practice that can be used in the classroom in higher education of Administration and Accounting, with positive results. However, it is pointed out as a technique that should be better observed by higher education professors, taking into account that improving teaching practice is an imminent necessity.

La investigación se realizó en las bases de datos Web of Science y Science Direct y, aunque no se estableció un año inicial para las búsquedas, estas se limitaron al mes de abril del año 2022, utilizando las palabras clave 'gamificación' y 'educación contable'. '; 'gamificación' y 'educación empresarial'; 'gamificación' y 'contabilidad'; 'gamificación' y 'gestión'. De acuerdo con los criterios de inclusión, se seleccionaron 18 estudios porque cumplieron con el objetivo propuesto en este estudio. Entre otros resultados, se destaca que la gamificación es una práctica metodológica que puede ser utilizada en el aula de educación superior de Administración y Contabilidad, con resultados positivos. Sin embargo, se señala como una técnica que debe ser mejor observada por los profesores de educación superior, teniendo en cuenta que mejorar la práctica docente es una necesidad inminente.Trata-se de uma Revisão Sistemática a Literatura (RSL) sobre a técnica de gamificação aplicada no ensino superior em Administração e Ciências Contábeis, prática que pode contribuir no processo ensino-aprendizagem ao proporcionar maior comprometimento dos alunos na construção do conhecimento. A pesquisa foi realizada nas bases de dados Web of Science e Science Direct e, embora não tenha sido estabelecido um ano inicial às buscas, essas se limitaram ao mês de abril do ano de 2022, tendo-se utilizado as palavras-chave ‘gamificação’ e ‘ensino contábil’; ‘gamificação’ e ‘ensino empresarial’; ‘gamificação’ e ‘contabilidade’; ‘gamificação’ e ‘gestão’. Em consonância com os critérios de inclusão, 18 estudos foram selecionados por atenderem ao objetivo proposto neste estudo, sendo que, entre outros resultados, destaca-se que a gamificação é uma prática metodológica possível de ser usada em sala de aula no ensino superior dos cursos de Administração e Contabilidade, com resultados positivos.
