Silimarin and liver disorders: a literature review

Resumo: | Liver disorders are liver -linked diseases. Given the severity of these disorders and the difficulties in establishing a treatment for them, it was decided to propose a new treatment model, using Silimarina, a plant that has been used since ancient times in the cure of various diseases. Given this, the purpose of this research was to discuss the real impact that Silimarina has on liver disorders. For this, this study was based on a descriptive bibliographic review, which was based on scientific papers already published between 2018 and 2022 in Portuguese and specifically dealt with the proposed theme. Data collection took place on database, such as Google Academic, Scielo, PubMed and Lilacs, resulting in 21 scientific works analyzed and released during this study. In the results found, it was clear that silimarin contributes to improving the intestines and the digestive system in general; Modulating the balance of microbiota (by stimulating the proliferation of lactobacillus and bifidobacteria, which would have an important effect of immunomodulatory paper). It still has anti-hepatotoxic action, this means, having liver protection assets and finally helps in the treatment of liver diseases. |

Dada la gravedad de estos trastornos y las dificultades para establecer un tratamiento para ellos, se decidió proponer un nuevo modelo de tratamiento, utilizando Silimarina, una planta que se ha utilizado desde la antigüedad en la cura de varias enfermedades. Dado esto, el propósito de esta investigación fue discutir el impacto real que Silimarina tiene en los trastornos hepáticos. Para esto, este estudio se basó en una revisión bibliográfica descriptiva, que se basó en artículos científicos ya publicados entre 2018 y 2022 en portugués y se ocupó específicamente del tema propuesto. La recopilación de datos tuvo lugar en la base de datos, como Google Academic, Scielo, PubMed y Lilacs, lo que resultó en 21 Works Scientific Works analizados y lanzados durante este estudio. En los resultados encontrados, estaba claro que la silimarina contribuye a mejorar los intestinos y el sistema digestivo en general; Modulación del equilibrio de microbiota (al estimular la proliferación de lactobacillus y bifidobacterias, que tendría un efecto importante del papel inmunomodulador). Todavía tiene acción antihepatotóxica, esto significa tener activos de protección hepática y finalmente ayuda en el tratamiento de enfermedades hepáticas.Os distúrbios hepáticos são doenças ligadas ao fígado. Tendo em vista a gravidade destes distúrbios e as dificuldades em se estabelecer um tratamento para eles, decidiu-se propor um novo modelo de tratamento, utilizando a silimarina, uma planta que vem sendo utilizada desde os tempos antigos na cura de diversas doenças. Diante disso, o objetivo dessa pesquisa foi discutir o real impacto que a silimarina possui nos distúrbios hepáticos. Para isso, esse estudo teve como base uma revisão bibliográfica descritiva, ao qual foi fundamentada em trabalhos científicos já publicados entre os anos de 2018 a 2022 em língua portuguesa e que tratavam especificamente sobre a temática proposta. A coleta de dados se deu em base de banco de dados, tais como Google Acadêmico, Scielo, PubMed e Lilacs, do qual resultaram 21 trabalhos científicos analisados e divulgados no decorrer desse estudo. Nos resultados encontrados, ficou claro observar que a Silimarina contribui para melhorar o intestino e o sistema digestivo em geral; modulando o equilíbrio da microbiota (pelo estímulo a proliferação de lactobacillus e bifidobactérias, o que teria importante efeito papel imunomodulador).
