Comprehensive nursing care for women who suffer gestational loss

Resumo: This study aims to understand from the perspective of the nursing team about care of women who suffer pregnancy loss and to identify how integrality is inserted in this context. Descriptive, cross-sectional study with a qualitative approach, carried out with 18 nursing professionals from a reference hospital in Rio de Janeiro – RJ, through an instrument containing subjective questions about knowledge, interpretations and practices in comprehensive care and its approach to women who have suffered loss gestational. Data analyzed using Content Analysis.  The content from the interviews could be divided into four axes of categories: The meaning of pregnancy loss in the context oof care; The search for the completeness of the look in the integral care of the woman: Weaknesses in providing comprehensive care to women who suffer pregnancy loss and Potentialities experienced in the management of care for women who suffer the loss. After the analysis, it was possible to conceive that the nursing team is aware of issues related to comprehensive care for women who experience pregnancy loss. The categories reinforce the significance of the theme, showing that despite the difficulties, the hospital environment of the maternity hospital is a propitious, strategic and essential place for the continuity of full care within the Health Care Network od the Unificed Health System.

Estudio descriptivo, transversal con enfoque cualitativo, realizado con 18 profesionales de enfermería de un hospital de referencia en Rio de Janeiro - RJ, a través de un instrumento que contiene preguntas subjetivas sobre conocimientos, interpretaciones y prácticas en la atención integral y su abordaje. mujeres que sufrieron una pérdida del embarazo. Los datos se analizaron mediante análisis de contenido. El contenido de las entrevistas pudo dividirse en cuatro ejes de categorías: El significado de la pérdida del embarazo en el contexto del cuidado; La búsqueda de la plenitud de la mirada en el cuidado integral de la mujer; Debilidades en la atención integral a la mujer que sufre la pérdida del embarazo y Potencialidades experimentadas en la gestión de la atención a la mujer que sufre la pérdida. Luego del análisis, fue posible concebir que  el equipo de enfermería es consciente de las cuestiones relacionadas con la atención integral a la mujer que experimenta la pérdida del embarazo. Las categorías refuerzan la significación del tema, mostrando que a pesar de las dificultades, el ambiente hospitalario de la maternidad es un lugar propicio, estratégico e imprescindible para la continuidad de la atención integral en la Red de Atención a la Salud del Sistema Único de Salud.Este estudo visa compreender sob a ótica da equipe de enfermagem sobre o cuidado à mulher que sofre perda gestacional e identificar como a integralidade está inserida nesse contexto. Estudo descritivo, transversal, com abordagem qualitativa, realizado com 18 profissionais de enfermagem de um hospital de referência do Rio de janeiro – RJ, através de instrumento contendo questões subjetivas sobre conhecimentos, interpretações e práticas no cuidado integral e sua abordagem a mulheres que sofreram perda gestacional. Os dados foram analisados mediante utilização de Análise de Conteúdo. O material oriundo das entrevistas pôde ser dividido em quatro eixos de categorias: O sentido da perda gestacional no contexto do cuidado; A busca pela completude do olhar no cuidado integral à mulher; Fragilidades ao prestar o cuidado integral à mulher que sofre perda gestacional e Potencialidades vivenciadas no manejo do cuidado à mulher que sofre a perda. Após a análise foi possível conceber que a equipe de enfermagem conhece questões relacionadas à integralidade do cuidado às mulheres que sofrem perda gestacional.
