Epistemological obstacles in texts in magazines of Scientific Disclosure

Resumo: | The scientific disclosure is a means of science diffusion to the general public which utilizes different resources, such as magazines, television, internet, among others. These resources of disclosure present an accessible language that is easily comprehended. Many of them make use of analogies, metaphors and images to facilitate the explanation of a concept and to improve the fluidity of reading. Therefore, this article intends to analyse the presence of epistemological obstacles on Galileu, Scientific American Brasil and Superinteressante magazine texts on the theme of Radioactivity. The time interval proposed to cover this analyses was between the years of 2014 and 2019, obtaining a total of 14 texts. From the analyses of these texts were found the following epistemological obstacles: animist, verbal, unitary and pragmatic, being that verbal had the most occurrence. We believe that the presence of these obstacles in articles may contribute to science debates. |

Esos materiales de divulgación presentan un lenguaje accesible y de fácil comprensión. Muchos de esos hacen uso de analogías, metáforas e imágenes para facilitar la explicación de un concepto y para la mejor fluidez de la lectura. De este modo, este trabajo tuvo como intención analizar la presencia de obstáculos epistemológicos en textos de las revistas Galileu, Scientif American Brasil y Superinteressante sobre el tema Radioactividad. El intervalo de tiempo propuesto en este análisis está comprendido entre los años de 2014 e 2019, en el cual obtuvimos un total de 14 textos. En el análisis de los textos fue posible encontrar los obstáculos epistemológicos: animista, verbal, unitario y pragmático, siendo lo de mayor ocurrencia el verbal. Creemos que la presencia de estos obstáculos en artículos pueda contribuir para debates sobre ciencia.A divulgação científica é uma forma de difusão da ciência para o público leigo e para isso utiliza diferentes recursos, como revistas, televisão, internet, entre outros. Esses materiais de divulgação apresentam uma linguagem acessível e de fácil entendimento. Muitos desses, fazem uso de analogias, metáforas e imagens para facilitar a explicação de um conceito e para melhor fluidez da leitura. Deste modo, este trabalho teve como intenção analisar a presença de obstáculos epistemológicos em textos das revistas Galileu, Scientif American Brasil e Superinteressante sobre o tema Radioatividade. O intervalo de tempo proposto para esta análise está compreendido entre os anos de 2014 e 2019, no qual obtemos um total de 14 textos. Na análise dos textos de foi possível encontrar os obstáculos epistemológicos: animista, verbal, unitário e pragmático, sendo que o de maior ocorrência foi o verbal.
