Resumo: Analyze the scientific evidence about the contributions of nursing care in the normal birth center to obstetric and neonatal care. The present study deals with a bibliographic review of the integrative literature review method, carried out in November 2020. The search was carried out, through the - VHL, using the databases LILACS, BDENF, and through from the Google Scholar Portal, adhering to the descriptors: “Nursing care” AND “Normal Delivery Center” AND “Obstetric Care”, crossed with the operator by typing “AND”. The role of nurses in assisting women in the parturition process is currently considered a possibility for reducing maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. With this assistance, you will be able to reduce cesarean-type interventional actions, which are often unnecessary. The ANC features, as a characteristic, alternatives and differentiated reception methods, with the performance of obstetric nursing showing itself to be increasingly concerned with the movement to defend individuality and empower the parturient, thus allowing adaptation of assistance to culture, religion, values and desires of women and family.

El presente estudio trata de una revisión bibliográfica del método de revisión integrativa de la literatura, realizada en noviembre de 2020. La búsqueda se realizó, a través de la BVS, utilizando las bases de datos LILACS, BDENF, y a través de del Portal Google Académico, adhiriéndose a los descriptores: “Atención de enfermería” Y “Centro de parto normal” Y “Atención obstétrica”, cruzados con el operador rellenando “Y”. El papel de las enfermeras en la asistencia a las mujeres en el proceso de parto se considera actualmente una posibilidad para reducir la morbilidad y mortalidad materna y perinatal. Con esta asistencia, podrá reducir las acciones de intervención tipo cesárea, que a menudo son innecesarias. La ANC presenta como característica alternativas y métodos de acogida diferenciados, con la actuación de la enfermería obstétrica mostrándose cada vez más preocupada por el movimiento de defensa de la individualidad y empoderamiento de la parturienta, permitiendo así la adecuación de la asistencia a la cultura, religión, valores. y deseos de la mujer y la familia.Analisar as evidências científicas acerca das contribuições da assistência de enfermagem no centro de parto normal para atenção obstétrica e neonatal. O presente estudo trata de uma revisão bibliográfica do método revisão integrativa da literatura, realizado no mês de novembro de 2020. A busca efetuou-se, através da - BVS, utilizando as bases de dados LILACS, BDENF, e por meio do Portal Google Acadêmico, aderindo-se através dos descritores: “Cuidados de enfermagem” AND “Centro de Parto Normal” AND “Atenção Obstétrica”, cruzados com o operador booleando “AND”. A atuação da enfermagem na assistência à mulher no processo de parturição, atualmente, é considerada como uma possibilidade para a redução da morbi-mortalidade materna e perinatal. Com essa assistência, poderá diminuir as ações intervencionistas do tipo cesarianas, muitas vezes desnecessárias.
