Digital games in educational contexts and multiple intelligences: approaches and contributions to learning

Resumo: Knowing how to deal with digital screens and new artifacts involves multiple skills and different intelligences. In this context, digital games are highlighted in order to identify how players perceive the exercise of multiple intelligences to contribute to the broadening of the understanding of the educational possibilities of using digital games. For that, an exploratory study of quantitative approach was carried out, through the application of a questionnaire with 58 students of the Distance Course in School Councils to evaluate the experience of using an educational game predicted as an activity. The results revealed, according to the students' perception, that intelligence related to mathematics and logical reasoning was the most used, followed by existential intelligence, abstraction and spatial intelligence and motor coordination. This recognition of the exercise of multiple intelligences in the interaction with digital games reinforces their educational potential and the different pedagogical possibilities of use.

En este contexto, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar el ejercicio de las múltiples inteligencias en las posibilidades educativas de uso de los juegos digitales. Para ello, se realizó una investigación exploratoria de abordaje cuantitativo, a través de la aplicación de un cuestionario con 58 alumnos del Curso de Extensión en Formación Continuada en Consejos Escolares para evaluación de la experiencia de uso de un juego educativo previsto como actividad. Los resultados revelaron, según la percepción de los cursistas, que la inteligencia relacionada a las matemáticas y el raciocinio lógico fue la más utilizada, seguida por la inteligencia existencial, la abstracción e inteligencia espacial y la coordinación motora. Este reconocimiento del ejercicio de las múltiples inteligencias en la interacción con juegos digitales refuerza su potencial educativo y las diferentes posibilidades pedagógicas de uso.Saber lidar com telas digitais e novos artefatos envolve várias habilidades e diferentes inteligências. Nesse contexto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo identificar o exercício das múltiplas inteligências nas possibilidades educativas de uso dos jogos digitais. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa exploratória de abordagem quantitativa, por meio da aplicação de um questionário com 58 alunos do Curso de Extensão em Formação Continuada em Conselhos Escolares para avaliação da experiência de uso de um jogo educativo previsto como atividade. Os resultados revelaram, segundo a percepção dos cursistas, que a inteligência relacionada à matemática e o raciocínio lógico foi a mais utilizada, seguida pela inteligência existencial, a abstração e inteligência espacial e a coordenação motora.
