Democratic and participatory management: A need in state public schools in the headquarters of the Municipality of Alto Alegre – Roraima – Brazil

Resumo: This article aimed to analyze the importance of democratic and participatory management that enables the principles of citizenship in the school context of State Public Schools based in the Municipality of Alto Alegre, Roraima, Brazil. Identifying its contribution as a relevant and significant proposal and strategy in the teaching and learning process. The organization, management, physical structure and materials guarantee the teaching and learning process, as well as quality teaching and compliance with the school calendar. In democratic management, there is a need to nullify the centralization of decision-making by the manager in the school community. It provides a view of school management, highlighting relevant public policies. A qualitative and quantitative approach and hermeneutic method were used in a study on the role of the school manager. It brings discussion, analysis and presentation of the results obtained, through the Data Collection Instruments - ICD, defining in the participants' view what it means to be a democratic and participatory management, pointing out the role of the school manager and his contribution to improving education. As a result, it is concluded that in effective leadership, it is necessary for the manager to know the theories, practices and skills. In this sense, in participatory management within the school environment, the manager has to seek strategies to effectively involve the participation of everyone involved in the educational process, and must not fail to relate theory to practice and reflect on the actions developed within the school.

Identificando su aporte como una propuesta y estrategia relevante y significativa en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. La organización, gestión, estructura física y materiales garantizan el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, así como una enseñanza de calidad y el cumplimiento del calendario escolar. En la gestión democrática es necesario anular la centralización de la toma de decisiones por parte del directivo en la comunidad escolar. Proporciona una visión de la gestión escolar, destacando las políticas públicas relevantes. En un estudio sobre el papel del director escolar se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo y un método hermenéutico. Trae discusión, análisis y presentación de los resultados obtenidos, a través de los Instrumentos de Recolección de Datos - ICD, definiendo en la visión de los participantes lo que significa ser una gestión democrática y participativa, señalando el papel del gestor escolar y su contribución al mejoramiento. educación. Como resultado, se concluye que en un liderazgo efectivo es necesario que el directivo conozca las teorías, prácticas y habilidades. En este sentido, en la gestión participativa en el ámbito escolar, el gestor debe buscar estrategias para involucrar efectivamente la participación de todos los involucrados en el proceso educativo, no debe dejar de relacionar la teoría con la práctica y reflexionar sobre las acciones desarrolladas al interior de la escuela.Este artigo teve como objetivo analisar a importância de uma gestão democrática e participativa que possibilite os princípios de cidadania no contexto escolar das Escolas Públicas Estaduais da sede no Município de Alto Alegre, Roraima, Brasil. Identificando sua contribuição como proposta e estratégia relevante e significativa no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. A organização, a gestão, a estrutura física e os materiais são as garantias do processo de ensino e aprendizagem, assim como um ensino de qualidade e o cumprimento do calendário escolar. Na gestão democrática, há necessidade de anular a centralização de tomadas de decisões do gestor na comunidade escolar. O mesmo traz uma visão da gestão escolar, ressaltando as políticas públicas pertinentes. Utilizou-se abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa e método hermenêutico em um estudo sobre o papel do gestor escolar. O mesmo traz discussão, análise e apresentação dos resultados obtidos, através dos Instrumentos de Coleta de Dados – ICD, definindo na visão dos participantes o que é ser uma gestão democrática e participativa, apontando a função do gestor escolar e sua contribuição para a melhoria da educação. Como resultado, conclui-se que em uma liderança eficaz, é necessário que o gestor conheça as teorias, práticas e competências.
