CNC Prototype: a new resource for maker environments as didactic support for teaching/learning in Educational Robotics courses

Resumo: With the advancement of technology and the large volume of content on the web in recent decades, the use of CNC milling machines (Computer Numerical Control) in the industrial environment has increased, gaining considerable attention in the manufacture of parts. This article proposes the construction of an affordable, low-investment CNC prototype for the manufacture of PCBs (printed circuit boards) in order to instigate the academic strengthening of teaching and learning in educational robotics courses, contributing to new low-cost prototyping. As a result from the didactic point of view, it is based on an educational model to support the knowledge and maker experiences of new students, demonstrating that this technology can be disseminated to several schools, encouraging research and the development of new prototypes.

Este artículo propone la construcción de un prototipo CNC asequible y de baja inversión para la fabricación de PCB (placas de circuito impreso) con el fin de impulsar el fortalecimiento académico de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en los cursos de robótica educativa, contribuyendo a la creación de nuevos prototipos de bajo costo. Como resultado desde el punto de vista didáctico, se basa en un modelo educativo para apoyar el conocimiento y las experiencias creadoras de los nuevos estudiantes, demostrando que esta tecnología puede ser difundida a varias escuelas, incentivando la investigación y el desarrollo de nuevos prototipos.Com avanço da tecnologia e o grande volume de conteúdos na web nas últimas décadas, tem-se ampliado a utilização de fresadoras CNC (Comando Numérico Computadorizado) no meio industrial, ganhando considerável atencão na fabricação de peças. Este artigo propõe a construcão de um protótipo CNC acessível de baixo investimento destinado à fabricação de PCI (placas de circuito impresso) a fim de instigar o fortalecimento acadêmico do ensino aprendizagem em cursos de robótica educacional, contribuindo para novas prototipagens de baixo custo.
