Resumo: | This work aims to highlight the importance and reflect on an educational public policy, showing its respective results, highlighting public problems, highlighting its actors and classifying the policy chosen in the typologies of the following theorists: Lowi, Wilson, Gormley, Gustafsson, Bozeman and Pandey. The public policy that we will discuss in this paper is the Support Program for Academic Restructuring and Expansion Plans at Federal Universities (REUNI), created in the government of ex-president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in 2007, the objective of this public policy focused on the area of education was to create conditions for the expansion of access and permanence in higher education. After studies, it was observed that the majority of Federal universities were located in the capitals and low-income students from the interiors did not obtain access to higher education, nor were they able to maintain themselves in the capitals, so the main focus of this policy is the internalization of federal universities and ifes as an expansion of access and permanence in higher education. |

La política pública que discutiremos en este trabajo es el Programa de Apoyo a los Planes de Reestructuración y Expansión Académica de las Universidades Federales (REUNI), creado en el gobierno del expresidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, en 2007, el objetivo de esta política pública enfocada en el área de la educación debía crear las condiciones para la expansión del acceso y la permanencia en la educación superior. Luego de estudios se observó que la mayoría de las universidades federales estaban ubicadas en las capitales y los estudiantes de bajos ingresos del interior no obtuvieron acceso a la educación superior, ni pudieron mantenerse en las capitales, por lo que el foco principal de esta política es la internalización de las universidades federales y las ifes como expansión del acceso y permanencia en la educación superior.O presente trabalho visa refletir sobre uma política pública educacional, mostrando seus respectivos resultados, evidenciando problemas públicos, destacando seus atores e classificando a política escolhida nas tipologias dos seguintes teóricos de: Lowi, Wilson, Gormley, Gustafsson, Bozeman e Pandey. A política pública que iremos discutir neste trabalho é o Programa de Apoio a planos de Reestruturação e Expansão Acadêmica das Universidades Federais (REUNI), criado no governo ex presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, em 2007, o objetivo desta política pulica voltada para área de educação era criar condições para a ampliação do acesso e permanência na educação superior.
