Alzheimer's disease: anticholinesterase activity of unconventional food plants (PANC) an integrative narrative review

Resumo: Objective: To perform a narrative integrative review on non-conventional food plants (PANC), which present inhibitory action of the acetylcholinesterase enzyme, using for this the most consulted databases today; to list the metabolites identified in non-conventional food species with anticholinesterase application. Methods: Survey of articles that addressed studies of plants in the PubMed, Scielo, Tandfoline, Springer link, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and other academic search sites without language and year restriction, using the descriptors and DeCS (Descriptors in Health Sciences). Results: 128 studies were identified, of which 22 were selected for this review. Conclusion: The road to be traveled is long, so far, we do not know when a new drug will arrive to assist in the treatment of this disease, in the meantime several researches arise with purpose in the treatment, accessible of Alzheimer's disease and this research will serve as a basis for future authors in the search for chemical markers for the treatment of Alzheimer's and food plants.

Métodos: Encuesta de artículos que abordaron estudios sobre plantas en las bases de datos PubMed, Scielo, Tandfoline, Springer link, Scopus, ScienceDirect, y otros sitios de búsqueda académica sin restricción de idioma y año, utilizando los descriptores y DeCS (Descriptores en Ciencias de la Salud). Resultados: Se identificaron 128 estudios, de los cuales se seleccionaron 22 para esta revisión. Conclusión: El camino a recorrer es largo, hasta ahora no se sabe cuándo llegará un nuevo fármaco que ayude en el tratamiento de esta enfermedad, mientras tanto surgen varias investigaciones con finalidad en el tratamiento, accesible de la enfermedad de Alzheimer y esta investigación servirá de base para futuros autores en la búsqueda de marcadores químicos para el tratamiento del Alzheimer y plantas alimenticias.Objetivo: Realizar uma revisão integrativa narrativa sobre plantas alimentícias não convencionais (PANC), que apresentam ação inibitória da enzima acetilcolinesterase, utilizando para isso as bases de dados mais consultadas na atualidade; elencar os metabolitos identificados nas espécies alimentícias não convencionais com aplicação anticolinesterasica. Métodos: Levantamento de artigos que abordaram estudos de plantas nas bases de dados PubMed, Scielo, Tandfoline, Springer link, Scopus, ScienceDirect, e demais sites de busca acadêmica sem restrição de idioma e ano, utilizando os descritores e DeCS (Descritores em Ciências da Saúde). Resultados: Foram identificados 128 estudos, dos quais 22 foram selecionados para esta revisão.
