Perception of Ludicotherapy students about playful care: an action research

Resumo: | The objective of this study was to analyze the perception of the recreational care of nursing students enrolled in the optional discipline Ludicoterapia. Study of a qualitative approach, type of action research, carried out with students of the optional discipline Ludicoterapia, graduating in Nursing from a public University in the South of the country. 25 students participated in this study (11 freshmen and 14 veterans). Data collection was performed through a structured questionnaire for situational diagnosis and focus group after completing the course. The data were subjected to thematic analysis of Bardin's content (pre-analysis, exploration of the material and treatment of the results obtained and interpretation). The research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee. Two categories emerged from the application of the focus group: “The nurse is active in promoting playful care”, with two subcategories: the nurse puts himself in the patient's place, and the nurse is ethical and true; the second category was “The patient is passive in playful care”, and the subcategory: the patient creates / lives and recreates fantasies through play. The participants narrated that the nurse must be purposeful for playful care, know the context of the patient who is caring, and recognize the precepts such as ethics, respect, secrecy, empathy and that playful care is configured as a link between the nurse and the patient. The participants narrated that play therapy includes touch, affection, affection, listening, empathy, being polite, ethical and true, and they understood that this care relieves the patient's tensions and suffering. |

Estudio de un enfoque cualitativo, tipo de investigación acción, realizado con estudiantes de la disciplina optativa Ludicoterapia, egresados de Enfermería de una Universidad pública del Sur del país. 25 estudiantes participaron en este estudio (11 estudiantes de primer año y 14 veteranos). La recolección de datos se realizó mediante un cuestionario estructurado para el diagnóstico situacional y el grupo focal luego de la conclusión de la disciplina. Los datos fueron sometidos a análisis temático del contenido de Bardin (preanálisis, exploración del material y tratamiento de los resultados obtenidos e interpretación). La investigación fue aprobada por el Comité de Ética en Investigación. De la aplicación del grupo focal surgieron dos categorías: “La enfermera es activa en la promoción del cuidado lúdico”, con dos subcategorías: la enfermera se pone en el lugar del paciente y la enfermera es ética y veraz; la segunda categoría fue “El paciente es pasivo del cuidado lúdico”, y la subcategoría: el paciente crea / vive y recrea fantasías a través del juego. Los participantes narraron que la enfermera debe tener un propósito para el cuidado lúdico, conocer el contexto del paciente que está cuidando, y reconocer los preceptos como la ética, el respeto, el secretismo, la empatía y que el cuidado lúdico se configura como un vínculo entre la enfermera y el paciente. Los participantes narraron que la terapia de juego incluye el tacto, el afecto, el cariño, la escucha, la empatía, la cortesía, la ética y la verdad, y entendieron que este cuidado alivia las tensiones y el sufrimiento del paciente.O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a percepção sobre o cuidado lúdico dos graduandos em Enfermagem matriculados na disciplina optativa Ludicoterapia. Estudo de abordagem qualitativa do tipo pesquisa ação, realizado com alunos da disciplina optativa Ludicoterapia, graduandos em Enfermagem de uma Universidade pública do Sul do país. Participaram desse estudo, 25 alunos (11 calouros e 14 veteranos). A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de um questionário estruturado para diagnóstico situacional e grupo focal após a conclusão da disciplina. Os dados foram submetidos à análise temática do conteúdo de Bardin (pré-análise, exploração do material e tratamento dos resultados obtidos e interpretação). A pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa. Emergiram duas categorias resultantes da aplicação do grupo focal: “O enfermeiro é ativo na promoção do cuidado lúdico”, com duas subcategorias: o enfermeiro se coloca no lugar do paciente, e o enfermeiro é ético e verdadeiro; a segunda categoria foi “O paciente é passivo no cuidado lúdico”, e a subcategoria: o paciente cria/vive e recria fantasias por meio do lúdico. Os participantes narraram que o enfermeiro deve ser propositivo para o cuidado lúdico, conhecer o contexto do paciente que está cuidando, e reconhecer os preceitos como ética, respeito, sigilo, empatia e que o cuidado lúdico se configura como um elo entre o enfermeiro e o paciente.
