Elaboration of questionnaires: some contributions

Resumo: The objective of this work is to discuss the characteristics of the questionnaire as a tool for research, addressing the contexts of application, the aspects to be observed in the construction and some care in the use. The application of questionnaires as a data collection instrument is widely used in research in several areas of knowledge and can be adapted to different objectives and research formats. In this work a review about the elaboration and the use of questionnaires for researches and evaluation was carried out, resulting in the systematization of some notes and orientations their construction. Among the systematized aspects, it is important to carry out a previous careful research in order to recognize concepts to be approached and tests already validated on the proposed theme, the perception that the context in which the collection is performed needs to be considered in the research, the importance of choosing an instrument that effectively responds to the research objectives. Finally, it is emphasized that the questionnaire is a technical procedure that requires care regarding its elaboration, ordering, sequence, and ethical aspects involved, aiming the balance and the quality in the construction of the instrument to obtain results that meet the defined objectives.

La aplicación de cuestionarios como un instrumento de recolección de datos es bastante utilizado en investigaciones en diversas áreas del conocimiento, pudiendo ser adaptado a diferentes objetivos y formatos de investigación. En este trabajo se realizó una revisión sobre la elaboración y el uso de cuestionarios para investigaciones y evaluación, resultando en la sistematización de algunos apuntes y orientaciones para su construcción. Entre los aspectos sistematizados se destaca la importancia de la realización de investigación previa criteriosa a fin de reconocer conceptos a ser abordados y pruebas ya validas acerca del tema propuesto, la percepción de que el contexto en el cual la recolección es realizada necesita ser considerado en la investigación, la importancia de optar por un instrumento que responda efectivamente a los objetivos de la investigación. Por último, se enfatiza que el cuestionario es un procedimiento técnico que requiere cuidados en cuanto a su elaboración, ordenación, secuencia y aspectos éticos involucrados, objetivando el equilibrio y la calidad en la construcción del instrumento para la obtención de resultados que atiendan a los objetivos definidos.Este trabalho tem por objetivo discutir as características do questionário como instrumento para pesquisa, abordando os contextos de aplicação, os aspectos a serem observados na construção e alguns cuidados no uso. A aplicação de questionários como um instrumento de coleta de dados é bastante utilizado em pesquisas em diversas áreas do conhecimento, podendo ser adaptado a diferentes objetivos e formatos de pesquisa. Neste trabalho realizou-se uma revisão acerca da elaboração e o uso de questionários para pesquisas e avaliação, resultando na sistematização de alguns apontamentos e orientações para sua construção. Dentre os aspectos sistematizados destaca-se a importância da realização de pesquisa prévia criteriosa a fim de reconhecer conceitos a serem abordados e testes já validados acerca do tema proposto, a percepção de que o contexto no qual a coleta é realizada precisa ser considerado na pesquisa, a importância de optar por um instrumento que responda efetivamente aos objetivos da pesquisa.
