Implantation of a Recycling Plant in the city of Rio Piracicaba-MG

Resumo: The disposal and reuse of waste is one of the main environmental challenges to be overcome by modern society in order to reconcile the objectives of sustainable development and environmental preservation. In Brazil, it is from garbage dumps and on city streets that thousands of people collect and market recyclable materials and in many cases feed on what they collect. In the city of Rio Piracicaba-MG, we have a long history of accidents, among them some fatal, occurred in the dump before located in the locality called "Batatinha". Currently the garbage collected in the city is transported to the landfill located between the city of Rio Piracicaba and João Monlevade, built through an agreement between the cities of Nova Era, Rio Piracicaba, Bela Vista de Minas, São Domingos do Prata and João Monlevade. There is also ASCARIPI, which collects recyclable solid waste in the municipality. Even with the existence of the same, much of the recyclable materials end up in the sanitary landfill, which after 12 years of operation is above half of its capacity of operation. In view of the above, the objective of this project is the implantation of a recycling plant in the city of Rio Piracicaba-MG, which aims to make possible a greater knowledge of a specific problem and seek solution for it. A number of progress has already been achieved, such as the release of funds from the Ministry of the Environment, the location of the site, where the physical space of the plant will be built and trainees hired to carry out environmental education projects in public schools in the municipality. The methodology of this project unfolds in three stages: analysis of the current situation of the collection and disposal of the city garbage; analysis of the possibilities, positive and negative and negative points of the implantation of a recycling plant in the municipality, focused and discovered to knowledge on textual bases and research and still in progress, describe the place of implantation, human resources, machinery, economic and financial organization recycling plant. Legislation has been an important and effective alliance of the environment, at a time when relations between public power and society are under review. Focused on such ideas, this project aims to organize collectors to rationalize selective collection and sorting, reduce costs, increase the flow of recyclable materials and encourage society to adopt ecologically sound conduct through environmental education.

En Brasil, es de los basurales y en las calles de las ciudades que miles de personas recogen y comercializan materiales reciclables y en muchos casos se alimentan de lo que catan. En la ciudad de Rio Piracicaba-MG, tenemos un largo historial de accidentes, entre ellos algunos fatales, ocurridos en el basural antes localizado en la localidad denominada "Batatinha". En la actualidad, la basura recolectada en la ciudad es transportada al rellano sanitario ubicado entre la ciudad de Rio Piracicaba y João Monlevade, construido a través de un convenio entre las ciudades de Nueva Era, Río Piracicaba, Bela Vista de Minas, Santo Domingo del Plata y João Monlevade . También existe ASCARIPI, que realiza recolección de los residuos sólidos reciclables en el municipio. Incluso con la existencia de la misma, gran parte de los materiales reciclables acaban yendo en el relleno sanitario, que después de 12 años de operación se encuentra por encima de la mitad de su capacidad de operación. El objetivo de este proyecto es la implantación de una planta de reciclaje en la ciudad de Rio Piracicaba-MG, que pretende posibilitar un mayor conocimiento de un problema específico y buscar solución para el mismo. Se han logrado varios progresos como la liberación del presupuesto por el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, elección del lugar, donde se construirá el espacio físico de la planta y contratación de pasantes para la realización de proyectos de educación ambiental, en las escuelas públicas del municipio. La metodología de este proyecto se desdobla en tres etapas: análisis de la situación actual de la recolección y destino de la basura de la ciudad; el análisis de las posibilidades, puntos positivos y negativos y negativos de la implantación de una planta de reciclaje en el municipio, volcadas y descubrimientos al conocimiento sobre bases textuales e investigaciones y aún en marcha, describir el local de la implantación, recursos humanos, maquinaria, organización económica y financiera de la planta de reciclaje. La legislación ha sido importante y eficaz aliada del medio ambiente, en un momento en que las relaciones entre el poder público y la sociedad están en proceso de revisión. En el marco de estas ideas, este proyecto pretende organizar a los recolectores para racionalizar la recolección selectiva y la selección, reducir costos, aumentar el flujo de materiales reciclables y alentar a la sociedad a adoptar conductas ecológicamente correctas a través de la educación ambiental.A destinação e reutilização do lixo é um dos principais desafios ambientais a serem vencidos pela sociedade moderna, em vista a conciliação dos objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável e preservação ambiental. No Brasil, é dos lixões e nas ruas das cidades que milhares de pessoas recolhem e comercializam materiais recicláveis e em muitos casos se alimentam do que catam. Na cidade de Rio Piracicaba-MG, temos um longo histórico de acidentes, entre eles alguns fatais, ocorridos no lixão antes localizado na localidade denominada “Batatinha”. Atualmente o lixo coletado na cidade é transportado para o aterro sanitário localizado entre a cidade de Rio Piracicaba e João Monlevade, construído através de um convênio entre as cidades de Nova Era, Rio Piracicaba, Bela Vista de Minas, São Domingos do Prata e João Monlevade. Existe também a ASCARIPI, que realiza coleta dos resíduos sólidos recicláveis no município. Mesmo com a existência da mesma, grande parte dos materiais recicláveis acabam indo parar no aterro sanitário, que após 12 anos de operação encontra-se acima da metade da sua capacidade de operação. Diante do exposto, o objetivo deste projeto é a implantação de uma usina de reciclagem na cidade de Rio Piracicaba-MG, que visa possibilitar um maior conhecimento de um problema específico e buscar solução para o mesmo. Já foram alcançados vários progressos como a liberação da verba pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente, escolha do local, onde será construído o espaço físico da usina e contratação de estagiários para a realização de projetos de educação ambiental, nas escolas públicas do município. A metodologia desse projeto se desdobra em três etapas: análise da situação atual da coleta e destinação do lixo da cidade; análise das possibilidades, pontos positivos e negativos e negativos da implantação de uma usina de reciclagem no município, voltadas e descobertas ao conhecimento em bases textuais e pesquisas e ainda em andamento, descrever o local da implantação, recursos humanos, maquinário, organização econômica e financeiras da usina de reciclagem. A legislação tem sido importante e eficaz aliada do meio ambiente, em um momento em que as relações entre o poder público e a sociedade estão em processo de revisão.
