Indigenous education in Brazil: Between legislation, teaching training and technologies

Resumo: This article aimed to survey and analyze the main Brazilian laws regarding indigenous education; briefly conceptualize indigenous school education and indigenous education. It addresses the importance of initial and continuing education for indigenous teachers and their legal support and finally discusses the use of information and communication technologies in the indigenous educational environment as a resource for strengthening their cultures. For this, it uses a methodology based on a qualitative and dialectic approach through document analysis and bibliographic study. At the end, it weaves the final considerations on the themes approached based on the selected authors and the analyzed legislations, where despite seeing that the indigenous educational theme has been developed in today's society, there is still much to be done, both from the legal point of view as practical.

Aborda la importancia de la educación inicial y continua para los maestros indígenas y su apoyo legal y finalmente discute el uso de las tecnologías de información y comunicación en el entorno educativo indígena como un recurso para fortalecer sus culturas. Para esto, utiliza una metodología basada en un enfoque cualitativo y dialéctico a través del análisis de documentos y el estudio bibliográfico. Al final, teje las consideraciones finales sobre los temas abordados en función de los autores seleccionados y las legislaciones analizadas, donde a pesar de ver que el tema educativo indígena se ha desarrollado en la sociedad actual, aún queda mucho por hacer, tanto desde el punto de vista legal. tan práctico.Este artigo teve como objetivo fazer um levantamento e análise das principais legislações brasileiras a respeito da educação indígena; conceituar, brevemente, educação escolar indígena e educação indígena. Aborda a importância da formação inicial e continuada de professores indígenas e seu respaldo legal e por fim discute o uso das tecnologias de informação e comunicação no ambiente educacional indígena como recurso para fortalecimento de suas culturas. Para isso utiliza uma metodologia baseada na abordagem qualitativa e dialética através da análise documental e estudo bibliográfico.
