Resumo: | Distance education has its own methodology that makes up the teaching-learning process, presenting particularities linked to technology. The objective of this research is to describe the concepts of parents / guardians of students regularly enrolled in basic education about the adoption of distance learning in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is characterized as qualitative of the exploratory descriptive type, whose methodological basis consists of providing familiarity with the research problem. The present provision is part of a research that aimed to know various aspects related to the adoption of Distance Learning (DE) in basic education during the social context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey was conducted between the months of April and May and took place through an electronic form and included a population of 105 participants. The distance learning mode has become exponentially popular in recent years, due to the large investments made in this category. However, a lot could be observed in the answers about the use of beliefs about the adoption of distance learning, where it is emphasized the continuity of prejudiced thoughts in relation to distance learning. More research can be carried out in order to discover issues related to the educational methodology that are in vogue. |

El objetivo de esta investigación es describir los conceptos de padres / tutores de estudiantes matriculados regularmente en educación básica sobre la adopción del aprendizaje a distancia en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19. Este estudio se caracteriza como cualitativo del tipo descriptivo exploratorio. La presente disposición es parte de una investigación que tuvo como objetivo conocer varios aspectos relacionados con la adopción de la educación a distancia (DE) en la educación básica durante el contexto social de la pandemia COVID-19. La encuesta se realizó entre abril y mayo y se realizó mediante un formulario electrónico e incluyó una población de 105 participantes. La modalidad de aprendizaje a distancia se ha vuelto exponencialmente popular en los últimos años, esto se debe a las grandes inversiones otorgadas a esta categoría. Sin embargo, se pudo observar mucho en las respuestas sobre el uso de creencias sobre la adopción del aprendizaje a distancia, donde se enfatiza la continuidad de los pensamientos prejuiciosos en relación con el aprendizaje a distancia. Se pueden realizar más investigaciones para descubrir problemas relacionados con la metodología educativa que están de moda.O EaD possui uma metodologia própria que compõe o processo ensino-aprendizagem, apresentando particularidades atreladas à tecnologia. O objetivo desta pesquisa é descrever concepções de pais/responsáveis de alunos regularmente matriculados na educação básica sobre a adoção do ensino à distância no contexto da pandemia do COVID-19. Este estudo caracteriza-se como qualitativo do tipo descritivo exploratório. O presente disposto é parte de uma pesquisa que objetivou conhecer variados aspectos relacionados à adoção do Ensino à Distância (EaD) na educação básica durante o contexto social da pandemia do COVID-19. A pesquisa foi realizada entre os meses de abril e maio e se deu por meio de formulário eletrônico e contou com uma população de 105 participantes. A modalidade EaD tem se popularizado de forma exponencial nos últimos anos, isso se deve aos grandes investimentos dados a essa categoria. No entanto, muito pôde ser observado nas respostas acerca do emprego de crendices sobre a adoção do ensino à distância, onde é enfatizado a continuidade de pensamentos preconceituosos com relação à EaD.
