Resumo: The gastropod mollusk Physa acuta is known to be an invasive species. Exotic species cause economic, social and biological damage to ecosystems. Due to their characteristics, including life history, reproductive strategy and biotic potential, these populations grow in a way that harms the environment in which they invaded. Considering the importance of these molluscs, an experiment was carried out in the laboratory to verify the effect of lamps, with different wavelengths, on the mollusk Physa acuta. The objective was to verify the viability of organisms under experimental conditions, with different lamps of different wavelengths. The lamps used were warm white light, cold white light, UVC and UVA, in addition to the Control Group, which received natural light. For the groups exposed to Cold White Light and Ultraviolet A, the performance of Physa acuta was lower than the Control and Warm White Light groups, but much higher than the Ultraviolet C group, which presented 100% mortality in just one week.

Las especies exóticas causan daños económicos, sociales y biológicos a los ecosistemas. Debido a sus características, que incluyen la historia de vida, la estrategia reproductiva y el potencial biótico, estas poblaciones crecen de manera que dañan el medio ambiente en el que invadieron. Considerando la importancia de estos moluscos, se realizó un experimento en laboratorio para verificar el efecto de lámparas, con diferentes longitudes de onda, sobre el molusco Physa acuta. El objetivo fue verificar la viabilidad de los organismos en condiciones experimentales, con diferentes lámparas de diferentes longitudes de onda. Las lámparas utilizadas fueron luz blanca cálida, luz blanca fría, UVC y UVA, además del Grupo Control, que recibió luz natural. Para los grupos expuestos a Luz Blanca Fría y Ultravioleta A, el rendimiento de Physa acuta fue menor que los grupos Control y Luz Blanca Cálida, pero muy superior al grupo Ultravioleta C, que presentó un 100% de mortalidad en tan solo una semana.O molusco gastrópode Physa acuta é conhecido por ser uma espécie invasora. Tendo em vista a importância desses moluscos, foi realizado um experimento em laboratório para verificar o efeito de lâmpadas, com diferentes comprimentos de onda, sobre o molusco Physa acuta. O objetivo foi verificar a viabilidade dos organismos nas condições experimentais, com diferentes lâmpadas de diferentes comprimentos de onda. As lâmpadas utilizadas foram luz branca morna, luz branca fria, UVC e UVA, além do Grupo Controle, que recebeu luz natural.
