Resumo: | The present research had as general objective to elaborate an experimental design that allowed to formulate a product based on natural compounds that acted efficiently in the treatment of bovine urine (pH control and odor minimization), developed were then corroborated to computational tools. The results showed that 47 drops of Tahiti lemon were necessary for the neutralization of 50 mL of urine, being necessary the use of three drops of the lemongrass essence for the minimization of the odor. The theoretical calculations showed how the interactions of citric acid with urea and uric acid occur, evidencing that citric acid interacts with approximately the same intensity with both urea and uric acid, justifying the experimental results found. |

Los resultados mostraron que fueron necesarias 47 gotas de limón Tahití para neutralizar 50 ml de orina, lo que requiere el uso de tres gotas de esencia de hierba de limón para minimizar el olor. Los cálculos teóricos mostraron cómo ocurren las interacciones de ácido cítrico con urea y ácido úrico, mostrando que el ácido cítrico interactúa con aproximadamente la misma intensidad con urea y ácido úrico, lo que justifica los resultados experimentales encontrados.O presente trabalho teve como objetivo geral elaborar um delineamento experimental que permitisse formular um produto à base de compostos naturais que atuasse de maneira eficiente no tratamento de urina bovina (controle de pH e minimização do odor), sendo que os trabalhos foram correlacionados às ferramentas computacionais. Os resultados evidenciaram que 47 gotas de limão Tahiti foram necessárias para a neutralização de 50 mL de urina, sendo necessário o emprego de três gotas da essência de capim-limão para a minimização do odor.
