Auriculotherapy in the stress management of the nursing team: an integrative literature review

Resumo: Objective: To describe the content found in Brazilian scientific research on the use of ear acupuncture in the stress control of the nursing team. Materials and methods: We used the assumptions of the integrative literature review in the BDENF, LILACS and MEDLINE databases, using the descriptors "acupuncture", auriculotherapy" and "nursing", with articles published from randomized clinical trials published in Portuguese, English and Spanish, with full text available online. We found 11 articles and of these, selected 05 that met the inclusion criteria. Results: From the study of the publications raised, it was possible to construct a table and classify the results of publications into categories: Technique and ear points used to control stress; Difference in results between groups; Auriculotherapy to improve quality of life. Final considerations: The study's contribution is based on evidence of stress reduction, health promotion and disease prevention with the use of auriculotherapy in the nursing team.

Encontramos 11 artículos y de estos, seleccionados 05 que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión. Resultados: A partir del estudio de las publicaciones planteadas, fue posible construir una tabla y clasificar los resultados de las publicaciones en categorías: Técnica y puntos de oído utilizados para controlar el estrés; Diferencia en los resultados entre grupos; Auriculoterapia para mejorar la calidad de vida. Consideraciones finales: La contribución del estudio se basa en evidencia de reducción del estrés, promoción de la salud y prevención de enfermedades con el uso de auriculoterapia en el equipo de enfermería.Objetivo: Descrever o conteúdo encontrado em pesquisas científicas brasileiras sobre o uso da acupuntura auricular no controle do estresse da equipe de enfermagem. Materiais e métodos: Utilizou-se os pressupostos da revisão integrativa de literatura nas bases de dados BDENF, LILACS e MEDLINE, utilizando os descritores “acupuntura”, auriculoterapia” and “enfermagem”, contou-se com artigos publicados a partir de ensaios clínicos randomizados publicados em português, inglês e espanhol, com texto completo disponível online. Foram encontrados 11 artigos e destes, selecionados 05 que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. Resultados: A partir do estudo das publicações levantadas, foi possível construir uma tabela  e classificar os resultados das publicações em categorias: Técnica e pontos auriculares utilizados no controle do estresse; Diferença nos resultados entre grupos; Auriculoterapia para a melhoria da qualidade de vida.
