Remote teaching of mental health in the training of Nursing Technicians in times of pandemic at Covid-19: experience of reinventing teachers

Resumo: Objective: to describe the experience in the teaching-learning process of the mental health discipline, remotely, in the training of nursing technicians. Methodology: this is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, about the teaching-learning process of the mental health discipline, taught remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic to a group of students from a Nursing Technician course. Results and Discussion: this manuscript is based on the report and reflection of experiences during the mental health curriculum component, in remote format, carried out in the first half of 2021. The experience allowed the elaboration of two categories: the first focuses on theoretical discussions the basic contents of mental health among students and teachers, and the second highlights the academy-service integration, from the perspective of the role and performance of different health professionals in psychosocial care services. Final considerations: the report and reflection of experiences lived during the mental health course revealed possibilities to teach theoretical contents, as well as to carry out internship activities in an off-site manner.

Metodología: se trata de un estudio descriptivo, tipo relato de experiencia, sobre el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la disciplina de salud mental, impartido de forma remota durante la pandemia Covid-19 a un grupo de estudiantes de un curso de Técnico en Enfermería. Resultados y Discusión: este manuscrito se basa en el reporte y reflexión de experiencias durante el componente curricular de salud mental, en formato remoto, realizado en el primer semestre de 2021. La experiencia permitió la elaboración de dos categorías: la primera se enfoca en discusiones teóricas los contenidos básicos de salud mental entre estudiantes y docentes, y el segundo destaca la integración academia-servicio, desde la perspectiva del rol y desempeño de los diferentes profesionales de la salud en los servicios de atención psicosocial. Consideraciones finales: el relato y la reflexión de las experiencias vividas durante el curso de salud mental revelaron posibilidades para impartir contenidos teóricos, así como para realizar actividades de pasantía de manera off-site.Objetivo: descrever a experiência no processo ensino-aprendizagem da disciplina de saúde mental, de modo remoto, na formação do técnico em enfermagem. Metodologia: trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, sobre o processo ensino-aprendizagem da disciplina de saúde mental ministrada de forma remota durante a pandemia da Covid-19 para uma turma de discentes de um curso Técnico em Enfermagem. Resultados e Discussão: este manuscrito fundamenta-se no relato e reflexão de experiências vivenciadas durante o componente curricular de saúde mental, no formato remoto, realizado no primeiro semestre de 2021. A experiência permitiu a elaboração de duas categorias: a primeira focaliza as discussões teóricas dos conteúdos básicos da saúde mental entre estudantes e docentes, e a segunda destaca a integração academia-serviço, na perspectiva do papel e atuação dos diferentes profissionais de saúde nos serviços de atenção psicossocial.
