Resumo: The article addresses questions in the field of Adapted Sports, discusses a study about the perception and methodologies of Physical Education teachers in Schools in Tocantinópolis-TO. The general objective is: To know the perception of Physical Education teachers about the application of adapted sports, for students with or without disabilities, at school. It has as question: What is the perception and methodologies of Physical Education teachers in schools in Tocantinópolis-TO in relation to Adapted Sports? In a critical line of investigation, the methodology is a study with a qualitative approach, with descriptive objectives and of an applied nature, carried out with Physical Education Teachers from the state school system, using the semi-structured interview applied as a data collection instrument. Through a questionnaire containing five open questions. It is noteworthy that the study made it possible to understand the perception of Physical Education teachers about the applicability of adapted sports, for students with or disabilities in the school context of the city of Tocantinópolis, as well as the methodological strategies used by teachers to promote the participation of these students.

El objetivo general es conocer la percepción de los maestros de Educación Física sobre la aplicación del deporte adaptado, para estudiantes con o sin discapacidad, en la escuela. Pregunta: ¿Cuál es la percepción y las metodologías de los maestros de educación física en las escuelas de Tocantinópolis / TO en relación con los deportes adaptados? En una línea crítica de investigación, la metodología es un estudio con un enfoque cualitativo, descriptivo y de naturaleza aplicada, realizado con profesores de educación física de la red de educación estatal, utilizando entrevistas semiestructuradas como instrumento de recolección de datos. Es de destacar que el estudio permitió comprender la percepción de los maestros de Educación Física sobre la aplicabilidad de los deportes adaptados para estudiantes con discapacidades en el contexto escolar de la ciudad de Tocantinópolis, así como las estrategias metodológicas utilizadas por los maestros para promover la participación de estos estudiantes.No presente artigo abordamos os questionamentos na área do Esporte Adaptado, a partir de um estudo da percepção e metodologias dos professores de Educação Física nas Escolas de Tocantinópolis/TO. O objetivo geral é conhecer a percepção dos professores de Educação Física acerca da aplicação do esporte adaptado, para alunos com ou sem deficiência, no âmbito escolar. Tem como questionamento: Qual a percepção e metodologias dos professores de Educação Física nas escolas de Tocantinópolis/TO em relação ao Esporte Adaptado? Em uma linha crítica de investigação, a metodologia trata-se de um estudo com abordagem qualitativa, descritivos e de natureza aplicada, realizada com Professores de Educação Física da rede estadual de ensino, utilizando como instrumento de coleta de dados a entrevista semiestruturada.
