Experiência dos pais de prematuros hospitalizados na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal durante a pandemia Covid-19

Resumo: Objective: To identify in scientific production the experiences of parents about the experiences in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: Integrative review of the literature conducted in the Virtual Health Library, PubMed, LILACS, and Scopus databases from May to June 2022. The findings were extracted, analyzed and synthesized in a narrative way. Results: A total of 1,096 studies were recovered; of these, 12 were selected for the review. Qualitative studies prevailed, with level of evidence VI. Parents experienced moments of restricted visits to their children, triggering fear, anxiety and stress. Conclusion: Parents of infants hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit during the Covid-19 pandemic experienced moments of stress, fear, anxiety and were predictors for Other emotional problems. It is also noteworthy that during this period of restrictions on the permanence of parents, there were negative impacts on breastfeeding, limitation of social support after discharge, difficulties of interaction with health professionals, care difficulties and physical contact with the baby.

Metodología: Revisión integrativa de la literatura realizada en las bases Biblioteca Virtual en Salud, PubMed, LILACS, y Scopus en el período de mayo a junio de 2022. Los hallazgos fueron extraídos, analizados y sintetizados en forma narrativa. Resultados: Se recuperó un total de 1.096 estudios; de esos, 12 fueron seleccionados para la revisión. Prevalecieron estudios cualitativos, con nivel de evidencia VI. Los padres experimentaron momentos de restricción de las visitas a sus hijos, lo que provocó miedo, ansiedad y estrés. Conclusión: Los padres de bebés hospitalizados en la Unidad de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal durante la pandemia Covid-19, experimentaron momentos de estrés, miedo, ansiedad y que fueron predictores para otros problemas emocionales. Se destaca también, que durante ese período de restricciones de la permanência de los padres, ocurrieron impactos negativos en la lactancia, limitación del apoyo social después del alta, dificultades de interacción con profesionales de salud, dificultades de atención y contacto físico con el bebé.Objetivo: Identificar na produção científica as experiências dos pais sobre as vivências na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal durante a pandemia Covid-19. Metodologia: Revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, PubMed, LILACS, e Scopus no período de maio a junho de 2022. Os achados foram extraídos, analisados e sintetizados de forma narrativa. Resultados: Recuperou-se um total de 1.096 estudos; desses, 12 foram selecionados para a revisão. Prevaleceram estudos qualitativos, com nível de evidência VI. Os pais vivenciaram momentos de restrições de visitas aos seus filhos, desencadeando medo, ansiedade e estresse. Conclusão: Os pais de bebês hospitalizados na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal durante a pandemia Covid-19, vivenciaram momentos de estresse, medo, ansiedade e que foram preditores para outros problemas emocionais.
