Resumo: The process vision can help in the management of organizations of different sizes and different areas of activity, mainly due to the potential of representation that process modeling has. Based on the process view, this paper presents a process improvement proposal from the Model Office of Civil Engineering of the Federal University of Pampa. This is a qualitative case study research in which the BPMN notation was used to model the current state of the office processes studied. With this, we aimed to identify points of improvement, which were later represented in the modeling of the future state of the processes. As a result it was found that the improvement points identified in the studied processes are related to project management solutions. These data indicate the possibility of using project management software and the need for project management training. The study indicates that process modeling can be used in relatively simple and informal processes to help improve the management of small organizations.

Basado en la vista del proceso, este documento presenta una propuesta de mejora del proceso de la Oficina Modelo de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Federal de Pampa. Esta es una investigación de estudio de caso cualitativa en la que se utilizó la notación BPMN para modelar el estado actual de los procesos de oficina estudiados. Con esto, buscamos identificar puntos de mejora, que luego se representaron en el modelado del estado futuro de los procesos. Como resultado, se descubrió que los puntos de mejora identificados en los procesos estudiados están relacionados con las soluciones de gestión de proyectos. Estos datos indican la posibilidad de utilizar software de gestión de proyectos y la necesidad de capacitación en gestión de proyectos. El estudio indica que el modelado de procesos se puede utilizar en procesos relativamente simples e informales para ayudar a mejorar la gestión de las organizaciones pequeñas.A visão por processos pode auxiliar na gestão de organizações de diferentes portes e de diversas áreas de atuação, principalmente pelo potencial de representação que e a modelagem de processos possui. Com base da visão por processos, este artigo apresenta uma proposta de melhoria de processos do Escritório Modelo de Engenharia Civil da Universidade Federal do Pampa. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de estudo de caso natureza qualitativa em que foi utilizada a notação BPMN para modelar o estado atual dos processos do escritório objeto de estudo. Com isso, visou-se identificar pontos de melhorias, os quais, posteriormente, foram representados na modelagem do estado futuro dos processos. Como resultado verificou-se que os pontos de melhoria identificados nos processos estudados estão relacionados com soluções de gestão de projetos. Esses dados indicam a possibilidade do uso de um software de gerenciamento de projetos e a necessidade de capacitação em gestão de projetos.
