Perception of quality in distance education: a study carried out at the Paulist University – Unip in a city of the Paraibano Sertão

Resumo: | It is necessary to provide quality services/products, being an essential factor for any company to remain in the market, so it is necessary to create strategies, seek innovations, adaptations and improvements, to meet the needs and expectations of customers, thus obtaining satisfactory results. This research aims to verify the level of quality of services offered by the University Paulista-UNIP in the city of Itaporanga-PB, in the perception of students of higher education in Administration, Physical Education and Social Work. In this paper will be presented concepts about quality in services, quality in educational services and the importance of distance higher education, these topics addressed theories that contributed to the contextualization of the theme. Regarding the methodological process, an exploratory, qualitative and quantitative research and a case study were conducted from an online questionnaire. Through the results found, it was possible to identify failures and successes in relation to the services provided, being noticeable relevant aspects that demonstrated the satisfaction of the interviewees, was also identified some factors that showed failures according to the students' perception, however, these points need to be improved to meet student needs. From the information obtained, it was possible to conclude that Universidade Paulista offers quality services, since it has been demonstrated students satisfaction with the services. |

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo verificar el nivel de calidad de los servicios ofrecidos por la Universidad Paulista-UNIP en la ciudad de Itaporanga-PB, en la percepción de los estudiantes de educación superior en Administración, Educación Física y servicio Social. En este documento se presentarán conceptos sobre la calidad en los servicios, la calidad en los servicios educativos y la importancia de la educación superior a distancia, estos temas abordaron teorías que contribuyeron a la contextualización del tema. Con respecto al proceso metodológico, se realizó una investigación exploratoria, cualitativa y cuantitativa y un estudio de caso a partir de un cuestionario en línea. A través de los resultados encontrados, fue posible identificar fallas y éxitos en relación con los servicios prestados, siendo notables los aspectos relevantes que demostraron la satisfacción de los entrevistados, también se identificaron algunos factores que mostraron fallas de acuerdo con la percepción de los estudiantes, sin embargo, estos puntos deben mejorarse para satisfacer las necesidades de los estudiantes. A partir de la información obtenida, fue posible concluir que la Universidad Paulista ofrece servicios de calidad, ya que se ha demostrado la satisfacción de los estudiantes con los servicios.É necessário proporcionar serviços/produtos com qualidade, sendo um fator essencial para qualquer empresa se manter no mercado, por isso é preciso criar estratégias, buscar inovações, adaptações e melhorias, para atender às necessidades e expectativas dos clientes, dessa forma obterá resultados satisfatórios. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo verificar o nível da qualidade dos serviços oferecidos pela Universidade Paulista-UNIP na cidade de Itaporanga-PB, na percepção dos estudantes dos cursos superior em Administração, Educação Física e Serviço Social. Nesse trabalho será apresentado conceitos sobre qualidade nos serviços, qualidade nos serviços educacionais e a importância do ensino superior a distância, esses tópicos abordaram teorias que contribuíram para a contextualização do tema. No que tange ao processo metodológico, foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória, quali-quantitativa e um estudo de caso, a partir de um questionário online. Através dos resultados encontrados, foi possível identificar falhas e acertos em relação aos serviços prestados, sendo percebível aspectos relevantes que demonstraram a satisfação dos entrevistados, também foi identificado alguns fatores que mostraram falhos segundo a percepção dos estudantes, no entanto, esses pontos precisam ser melhorados para atender as necessidades dos estudantes. Através das informações obtidas, foi possível concluir que a Universidade Paulista oferece serviços de qualidade, uma vez que foi demonstrado satisfação dos estudantes para com os serviços.
